Summer in Saalbach Hinterglemm 2018 | Austria Vlog (& last vlog on the Canon G7X mark ii!)
Join me as I explore Saalbach Hinterglemm in Austria on a little solo trip. This is my last Europe vlog... and my last travel vlog on the Canon G7X mark ii, so it's kind of the end of an era.
I ended my crazy two month trip to Europe with a few days in the Austrian Alpine resort of Saalbach Hinterglemm. Saalbach Hinterglemm is a popular ski resort in Austria, but it turns out there's a lot to do there in summer too.
In this travel vlog, I get up early for sunrise hike before heading straight back up the mountain - to jump off it. It's my second time paragliding and paragliding in Austria is a completely different experience to my time paragliding in Turkey. It's such a great way to see the Saalbach mountains and appreciate just how impressive they are.
After paragliding, I went to visit the Golden Gate Bridge, Hochseilpark (High Rope Park) and the Treetop Trail. Then, the following day, I went mountain biking in Hinterglemm.
As I mentioned, this is also my last travel vlog on the Canon G7X Mark ii! It's been a fantastic vlogging camera and I wasn't expecting to replace it when I filmed this video, but I have my reasons. I'll explain more in the next video, so I hope to see you there! As always, thanks for watching and joining me in Saalbach, and on this crazy trip around Europe :)

View from Red Bull grandstand at 2015 Austrian F1 Grand Prix
This video was taken during FP2 at the Red Bull Ring on Friday, June 19. I think this is section D of the Red Bull grandstand. As you can see, there are decent panoramic views of the cars exiting turn 1 and running up the hill to turn 2, as well as the infield section of the circuit. This seat would have set you back € 350 in 2015 (lower seats in this section, rows 1-17, were cheaper at €295). This was also one of the few grandstands to sell out in 2015. Not the cheapest, but a good choice at the Red Bull Ring. Look out for our 2016 travel guide to the Austrian Grand Prix. In the meantime, check out our report of this year's race:
Start of the 2015 Austrian F1 Grand Prix at Red Bull Ring
We watched the start of this year's race from the last corner. In 2014, this corner had two grandstands - Ost (East) and Red Bull Mobile, but ticket sales were down this year so these were not constructed. It was a popular place to watch the action, but it did lack at big screen TV (other parts of General Admission did have TVs). Look out for our 2016 travel guide to the Austrian Grand Prix. In the meantime, check out our report of this year's race:

Austrian MotoGP motorcycle tour: last August we went on an awesome motorcycle tour across the French Alps, Switzerland, Austria and Italy.
We saw the Austrian MotoGP race at the Red Bull Ring, and it was amazing. You wouldn't believe the number of fans that were there. The circuit is amazing.
As exciting or more exciting was the motorcycle ride to get there. Grenoble, Mont Blanc, Annecy, Andermatt, Innsbruck, the Dolomites, the Alps, the Stelvio Pass, Bellagio, Lake Como and more. The hotels and food were excellent as well.
We visited a lot of great places. Ramingstein Castle (in this video) in Austria is one of them. Stop and visit if you are in the area, we were very well received.
Our group was so much fun, we can't wait to do it again. Thanks to the M2 MotoTours Team for such an unforgettable experience. 5*****.
Thanks!
