Lake Norman High School, Mooresville, NC (DJI Mavic Pro Footage)
Lake Norman High School, Home of the Wildcats was built in 2002. Named for the lake that it sits next to ( Lake Norman ) - the school is part of the Iredell - Statesville school system. The school currently has an enrollment over 1,800 students but was built to house 1,300 students. Due to this a new wing was added in 2006.
This shows the rapid population growth within this beautiful area of North Carolina.
The school has received many rewards since it's opening but takes pride in being recognized in 2009 for a 95% graduation rate , highest in North Carolina that year. In June 2012 the school was recognized as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
