Jantar - Beach and Lakeside (Poland)
One day during my mid-July 2017 venture to Gdańsk, I took a bus to Krynica Morska, from which I travelled back to later in the day to Stegna. Afterwards, I walked the tranquil and prestine beach to Jantar. I didn't fine any amber (jantar, bursztyn) myself, howbeit, the village is beautiful and quiet. I truly wonderful part of the Baltic Sea coast in Poland.

In June 2018, I stayed at Sopot Marriott Resort and Sheraton Sopot, near the Sopot Pier, old lighthouse and Monte Cassino, the pedestrian road running through the heart of the town.

카나번에서 멀지 않은 곳에 알 만한 사람은 다 아는 아주 작은 마을이 있다. 생각하는 그대로다. 여기는 바로 그 도자기가 만들어진 포트메리온. 1900년대 초, 건축가 윌리엄 경은 이 마을을 인공적으로 조성했고 그의 딸 수잔은 이곳 정원에서 영감을 얻어 도자기 브랜드를 만들었다. 지금은 관광지로만 이용되는, 말하자면 세계 최초의 테마파크인 셈이다. 마을 이름과 똑같은 도자기의 판매장이 한 쪽에 있었다. 우리나라의 2/3 가격에 훨씬 다양한 디자인. 초보 아줌마의 눈길을 사로잡기에 충분했다. 하지만 촬영 장비만 해도 이미 벅찬 나는 무거운 그릇을 이끌고 갈 엄두가 나지 않아 눈요기만으로 만족해야 했다. 포트메리온에 가면, 또 하나 웨일스 전통의 선율을 들을 수 있다. “하트는 웨일스에서 아주 인기가 높습니다. 하프는 웨일스의 국악기이고, 우리는 17세기에 하프를 우리의 악기로 받아 들였지요. 요즘 하프는 결혼식과 여러 행사에서 아주 인기가 높습니다.” 30개의 줄과 10개의 손가락으로 만들어 낸 천사의 선율. 순박하고도 착한 웨일스인의 마음씨를 닮았다.
