Our friend took us on a guided tour of Oslo today but it was really foggy! She took us to see the famous ski jump - Holmenkollen. Holmenkollen National Ski Arena is one of Norway's most visited tourist attractions, and includes the world’s oldest ski museum, jump tower and a ski simulator which Tabitha loved. Holmenkollen hosts World Cup Nordic skiing events every winter. It was crazy high and I don't know how people do it!
You can ski only 20 mins from central Oslo at the Oslo Vinterpark. Although the city centre had no snow, there WAS snow at Oslo Vinterpark as they produce it! Then on to the cafe at Frognerseteren for the cakes and biscuits which were worth it!
We are off to Beitostolen skiing tomorrow for Christmas!

We flew from Gatwick Airport, UK to Oslo Gardermoen Airport,
Norway with Norwegian Airlines which took approx 2 hours. We booked our tickets online on their english website.

We travelled from Oslo to Beitostolen on the Valdresekspressen, a coach service which runs six times a day during the winter season and takes 4 hours. For two adults and two children return it cost £150. We booked our tickets online in the UK on their english website.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Beitostolen
