Stratham New Hampshire (NH) Real Estate Tour
Tour Stratham, NH neighborhoods, condominium developments, subdivisions, schools, landmarks, recreational areas, and town offices.
Stratham, New Hampshire offers the quiet rural ambiance of small-town New England around every turn of its back roads. With no commercial downtown to speak of, Stratham has served as a corridor and suburb since its earliest days, when farming was the mainstay of the community. The town's economy is fueled by the occupants of the Stratham Industrial Park and by dozens of large and small businesses lining Stratham's two main roadways. Most are located in supermarket-anchored shopping centers, attractive brick business centers and high-end, wood-framed mini-malls.
Education plays an important role in Stratham, home to several private preschools, a Montessori school and the public Stratham Memorial School.
Popular youth recreation programs in baseball, softball, basketball and soccer are run by a volunteer recreation director. Recreation fields at Stratham Hill Park, Memorial School and the municipal center are in constant demand.
Each July, thousands of visitors turn Stratham upside down for one weekend during the Stratham Fair at Stratham Hill Park, which features prize farm animals, 4-H shows, craft displays, special entertainment and midway. The park is named for Stratham Hill, the highest point of land in the seacoast region, with a fire tower that affords views as far as Mount Washington on a clear day. In winter, a snowy weekend brings out dozens of families for great sledding down the side of the hill.
Stratham's gently rolling countryside, much of it just off the beaten path, belies the fact that this is a community of steady, vibrant growth. Situated near New Hampshire's Atlantic Ocean coast, the city of Boston, the scenic Lakes Region, and the majestic peaks of the White Mountains, Stratham offers a gorgeous rural setting, a healthy local business climate and excellent opportunities for recreation, sightseeing and leisure. If you like snow activities, then this is the year for you to be in New England. I like the four seasons, but prefer a shorter Winter.
For many others, this is the UPSIDE of living in New Hampshire.

Warner Hill Fire Tower
NH Fire Tower List map…
Our quest to stand at every site where a fire tower stands, once stood or was proposed, brought us to Warner Hill #21 for us on the NH Fire Tower List. This was our 3rd time to visit it because we want to have video of it. It is one of the easiest fire towers to get to. It is also on the NH Fire Lookout Tower Quest.
This video was filmed using the Sony Handycam HDR-CX430V and edited using Adobe CS6.

Newmarket New Hampshire (NH) Real Estate Tour
Tour Newmarket, NH neighborhoods, condominium developments, subdivisions, schools, landmarks, recreational areas, and town offices.
Newmarket, New Hampshire sits at the juncture of the Lamprey River and Great Bay and is part of the undiscovered Seacoast Region of New Hampshire. It offers the relaxation of a small town, yet it is just minutes away from the activities of the State University, Phillips Exeter Academy and the cosmopolitan charms of Portsmouth. With white church steeples, old mill buildings, a dammed river, park land with nature walks, and good road access to beaches, skiing and golfing, Newmarket is an ideal place to work and live.
Water is at the heart and soul of Newmarket, a close-knit community that stretches along the Route 108 corridor, through a tranquil downtown waterfront and past the old, sprawling saltwater farms and modern condominiums that cluster along the shores of Great Bay. Newmarket's many waterways, its ticket to prosperity during its manufacturing boom, continue to attract residents in today's rush for waterfront real estate.
Newmarket's concern for its citizens is evident in the presence of several community buildings and special services. The recreation center houses community services ranging from after-school programs to Meals on Wheels, 4-H to scouting, and is conveniently close to the high school gym. Several small recreational parks are scattered throughout Newmarket, including a Little League field, softball fields and two municipal boat launch areas. A tennis and athletic club and nine-hole golf course complement the town's activities.
Homes and apartments tucked into the steep hills behind Newmarket's main street are compact and convenient to downtown, which offers a plethora of campy storefronts. Other neighborhoods on the outskirts of town are wooded, with homes dotted along their winding roads; farms and pastures line the town's country roads. A trip through Newmarket is sure to include a glimpse of some of the town's waterways, where commerce and pleasure still evolve around the rivers and bay that lie at the heart and soul of this energetic community. Highland MTB Park is pretty freaking great
Today, we review Highland Mountain Bike Park in New Hampshire, a very unique facility which ONLY serves mountain bikers. With a ton of downhill trails, a jump park, and an indoor training facility, Highland certainly has a leg up on the competition. As usual, we'll rate the park in ten categories and add them up for a final score.

Hiking Rock Rimmon
NH Fire Tower List map…
Our quest to stand at every site where a fire tower stands, once stood or was proposed, brought us to Rock Rimmon #39 for us on the NH Fire Tower List. This was our 2nd time to visit it because we want to have video of it. The first time we took the Jeep access road to the top this time we followed the trail through the woods. There are the remains of the original fire tower that can be seen.
This video was filmed using the Sony Handycam HDR-CX430V and edited using Adobe CS6.
