Straubing is an independent city in Lower Bavaria, southern Germany. It is seat of the district of Straubing-Bogen. Annually in August the Gäubodenvolksfest, the second largest fair in Bavaria, is held. The city is located on the Danube forming the centre of the Gäuboden.

St. Peter's Church, Straubing, is a Romanesque basilica in Straubing, Germany. It was built in the second half of the 12th century, and is distinguished by its two sculpted portals. Hall to Nabburg, Bavaria

We were heading north. This short film covers two days through Bavaria, starting at the Austrian border near Mittenwald, home of so many great stringed musical instruments. The entrance into Wasserburg is a bit special (2m30s). Coming into Nabburg (5m00s) was nice, too.

Think of the video as a simple accompaniment to the music. This Daft Punk piece is well suited to easy travelling.
