Sempachersee / Sursee / Canton of Lucerne / Drone View: Top places to see / DJI Phantom 4
Sempachersee is a beautiful lake situated in the Canton of Lucerne. It can be easily reached from the town of Sursee, a typical Swiss town. Sempachersee offers a wide variety of activities to its visitors. There is a dedicated swimming and beach volley ball area for sports enthusiasts, while for those seeking a relaxing day break can take a boat ride or enjoy kannoying. Riding a paddle or row boat with views to central Switzerland Alpine ranges in background is an amazing experience. Fishing strolling around lake, bird watching etc. are some of the other ways of spending quality time with family and friends. The lake shore is 5 min ride from the Sursee town center. It can be reached by car or bus. There is plenty of space for everyone to park their cars. One can enjoy coffee and snacks from lake side kiosks. It is one of the must see places in Switzerland.
Sursee, Switzerland – where the old meets the new
Let my camera take you on a walk around the old and modern small Swiss town of Sursee, on the River Sure. The film starts with a look at industrial buildings, old and new, and moves on to some of Sursee’s shopping malls. Then it’s into the older centre with its cobbled streets and fortified gateways. The flower shop is worth a second look, as is the elegant water fountain with a statue on top in the square. In between the two, look out for the stepped-gable building with a tower behind: it has a magnificent gilded sundial in the middle of its façade.
Most beautiful part of Switzerland? with New Retrowave Soundtrack The Midnight Dynatron
Another day, another day trip for the two of us. Today we checkout the small village of Seelisberg, as well as the town of Brunnen. The journey from Brunnen to Seelisberg is a pleasant 8 minute ferry ride, followed by an equally short ride up towards Seelisberg by funicular train. Normally we'd hike up, but this time around - we wanted to try this charming little train. The title of the video, simply refers to our continued search for a place to call home. We've been bouncing around the globe for a combined 20 years or so now (14 years for me, and another six for Risa from the moment we met). We are now truly blessed (and grateful to the people of Switzerland) for allowing us to call Switzerland home. In this video, we visit another region where we're considering buying a home.
If you enjoy travel videos, without the same generic soundtracks or contorted YouTuber faces in every video thumbnail - and don't mind an offbeat sense of humour, there's a good chance you'll enjoy our adventures. Please subscribe, and don't be shy to say Hello in the comments. We read all of them, and do our best to respond to everyone.
Thank you again for watching - especially, to those of you who've been here with us from the start. We know who you are and do our best to make our videos enjoyable especially for you guys. :)
Cheers!

360° video. Gansabhauet, Sursee Switzerland. 11.11.2018
Yesterday I photographed an old Swiss tradition held on St martin's day every year called Gansabhauet.
They hang a dead goose by the neck from a wire (like a clothes line). A participant is randomly chosen, blindfolded, given a red robe and a golden mask to cover his / her face,
They are then led to where the goose is hanging and have one chance to try and separate the goose from its body using a sabre! One swipe only.
In between this event, they have a face pulling contest for the kids who receive cheese for their best efforts and a sack race where the kids jump their way to Swiss cervelat sausages , again hung from wire, where they have to take a bite without touching them with their hands!
Another event for the kids is to climb up a massive wooden pole and snatch a present from the top.
The footage was shot on a Samsung Gear 360ncamera with kind permission of the Sursee organising committee.
Creux du Van | Neuchâtel | Le Soliat | Drone View | Places to see before you die | DJI Phantom 4
The Creux du Van is a natural rocky cirque formed by natural water and ice erosion from a local glacier.
Approximately 1400m wide and 160m deep, on the north side of Le Soliat, in the Val de Travers district of Swiss canton Neuchâtel.
Also known as amphitheater like shape, located at the heart of a nature reservation area.
The Le Soliat is a mountain of the Jura Mountain Range, overlooking Lake Neuchâtel in western Switzerland.
A must visit place in Switzerland!!
Early morning in Emmetten, Switzerland
Zofingen, Switzerland
The city of Zofingen, in the Swiss canton of Aargau, has a long history dating back to the 12th century and beyond. It prospered as a walled market town because it was on the trade route from Basel to Lucerne, and as the film shows it has some fine historic architecture. The gentle music soundtrack underlines the peacefulness of the city on a sunny winter’s day, with people going quietly about their business on foot and by bicycle, so that when some traffic is seen on the outskirts near the end of the film, it is quite a surprise!
