Suwon is the capital and largest metropolis of Gyeonggi-do, South Korea's most populous province which surrounds Seoul, the national capital. Suwon lies about 30 kilometres south of Seoul. It is traditionally known as The City of Filial Piety. With a population close to 1.2 million, it is larger than Ulsan, although it is not governed as a metropolitan city. Suwon has existed in various forms throughout Korea's history, growing from a small settlement to become a major industrial and cultural center.     Gwanggyosan is a big mountain in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It lies on the border of Suwon and Yongin, though the wider range extends north and so also borders Uiwang, Gwacheon, Seoul and Seongnam.The summit offers views across Suwon, Yongin and Bundang. The mountain is commonly hiked from Gwanggyo Reservoir in Suwon.
