Chasing Waterfalls ~ North Carolina Waterfall Tour
Recently me & Wifey decided to take a weekend trip to see as many NC waterfalls as possible in the Asheville, NC area. Western NC has an abundance of beautiful waterfalls. We estimated our trip would be around 200 miles round-trip starting in Asheville.
We ended up visiting 8 waterfalls. Some of these waterfalls require quite long hikes because they were remote. It was a very fun and tiring trip. We saw a lot of beautiful scenery and now we are pumped to visit even more waterfalls all over North Carolina.
The 8 waterfalls we visited:
Linville Waterfalls
Crabtree Falls
Roaring Fork Falls
Soco Falls
Mingo Falls
Juney Whank Falls
Toms Branch Falls
Indian Creek Falls
The last 3 waterfalls were located in Smokey Mountains ark in Bryson City, NC.
I used an iPhone 5 and a Canon 60D to shoot all of this video.
I hope you enjoy the video. Fell free to share with others and subscribe to catch all of our adventures.
Christmas Trip to Asheville, NC
Family came over to spend the holidays so we decided to make a Christmas trip to Asheville.
We stayed at a house with beautiful views of the mountains in Swannanoa, toured at Biltmore Estates with all its christmas decorations, hiked and enjoyed the incredible scenery at Mount Mitchell State Park, visited and dined at a couple of cool towns called Hendersonville and Black Mountain, drove through the Blue Ridge Parkway to stumble across the beautiful Lake Tahoma, grabbed some cool pictures at Looking Glass Falls in Pisgah National Forest, enjoyed a wine tasting tour at Shelton Vineyards to finish it off at the Asheville Arboretum with its great display of Winter Lights!

Mama Gertie's Hideaway Campground Review
We had an amazing week at Mama Gertie's Hideaway Campground in Swannanoa, NC, near Asheville. In this video, we review the campground from bottom to top, and show all of the fun things there are to do in the area.
Mama Gertie's provides awesome views of the mountains, yet is conveniently located near I-40, which makes getting to local attractions easy... leaving time to come back to camp and enjoy the amazing sunsets.
We were fortunate enough to get one of the four sites with a deck, swing and porch furniture. The view was amazing. I was able to fly my DJI Spark drone right off the deck for some spectacular photos and aerial footage.
Make sure you watch the video to the end, where we talk about nearby attractions such as the Biltmore Estate, Black Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Chimney Rock and Catawba Falls.
Swannanoa Valley Museum | NC Weekend | UNC TV
Located near Black Mountain, North Carolina, The Swannanoa Valley Museum requires a bit more walking than most museums. In fact, the hiking tours offered eleven times a year by the museum allow the hikers to see pieces of the historic vistas scattered across the Swannanoa Valley. Hikers will not only travel across some of the same paths as many of the first Americans did, but also explore the museum building itself, where the many exhibits showcase the life and culture of Swannanoa Valley.
