In December each year high population density areas in the southern part of Saitama Prefecture attract even more people than usual with their active winter evening fairs. On 10th (regardless of the day of the week) Hikawa Shrine in Omiya holds Daitō-sai (lit. Great Hot Water Festival), on 12th Tsukinomiya Shrine in Urawa holds Juuninichi-machi (or locally pronounced as Juuninch-machi; lit. Twelfth Day Town) and Kawaguchi Shrine in Kawaguchi holds Okamé-ichi (lit. Round, Flat-Faced Woman's Fair). This footage shows the vicinity of JR Kawaguchi station.
