The Blue Rocks near Tafraoute in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco
helped us discover the Blue Rocks, just outside the small town of Tafraoute in the Middle Atlas Mountains. In 1984 Belgian artist Jean Verame and a group of local firemen unleasded 18 tons of paint over a collection of boulders to create a surreal landscape work of art.
If you want to experience The Blue Rocks, Tafraoute or the Middle Atlas Mountains in safe and competent hands, then we recommend you contact Morocco Explorers by visiting their website morocco-explorers.com

This was Morocco. An amazing experience with David 'Streaky' Chambers. 3 weeks in the country and not regretting one single day. The video can't really show a lot of the fantastic scenery and experiences. There is a longer version of one hour if anyone is interested.... :) Definitely a place to visit. The Atlantic coast is as stunning as the Atlas mountains. We crossed any possible terrain from rocks over desert to forest. Will surely go back there and look a bit closer into certain corners of the country. We camped wild throughout the whole journey and enjoyed progressing as we liked during the day and cooking at night after finding a nice spot to stay - which was not always easy. Spending three weeks with two guys and two cars can be a bit tricky, Streaky is indeed the best travel companion! And his breakfast is great. Just takes a bit long and he doesn't drink coffee, still need to make my own.
