Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and most popular travel destination in Vietnam. In 2001, I had been there for a vacation, with Star Leo of Star Cruises. The trip was really memorable and I want to be there again since then.
In late 2018, the chance came. World Dream, the newest cruise ship of Dream Cruises, had a tour to Da Nang and Ha Long Bay in Vietnam. By which the tourist could visit Hoi An Ancient Town, My Khe Beach, Dragon Bridge, Bao Tang Quang Ninh Museum, Vincom Plaza, Bai Chay Lighthouse and the focal point, Sight Boat Trip of Ha Long Bay.
Although I had a bad experience with her almost the same design sister ship, Genting Dream, I decided to join the tour. It was because my travel experiences with Star Pisces (1998) , Star Leo / Superstar Leo (2001) and Star Virgo / SuperStar Virgo (2014 & 2015) were really good.
The Trip was good in general. The shows, activities, facilities and onshore tour in Ha Long Bay are really good. But the arrangement for embark and depark, the food and the onshore tour in Da Nang (the route to Hoi An Ancient Town) are really bad. In conclusion, I recommend to travel with this cruise if the guests are willing to take the food in chargeable restaurants on the ship and ready to spend time for line up !
