Traveling in North Lebanon. Discover Some Tourist Attractions!
A Dutch tourist in Lebanon - traveling in North Lebanon. Check out some of the tourist attractions in this part of the country. My trip started in Enfeh, a fishing village on the Mediterranean coast which is famous for its white and blue Greek-style houses, old churches and more recently salt production. The trip continued to Amioun, the capital of a predominantly Greek Orthodox district. Then we drove up in the mountains. Here you can find some picturesque small towns like Enfeh, Bcharre and several ski resorts. In April, the peaks of Mount Lebanon were still covered with snow but spring was coming to the Kadisha Valley.

HIKING IN LEBANON TO CHOUWEN with Explore Lebanon Tours! | Lebanon Vlog
Going on a Hike in Lebanon was something that I wanted to do, so when I saw that Explore Lebanon Tours not only offer great day trips from Beirut, they offer a tour from Beirut Hiking in the beautiful Nature Reserve of Chouwen, I had to do it!
Nicola from Explore Lebanon Tours picked me up from The Grand Meshmosh Hotel in Beirut which is where I was staying for 6 nights in Lebanon.
We drove through the crazy Beirut traffic and into the Mountains to Chouwen. The view from the platform half way down to the River looking into the Valley was incredible and then we walked all the way to the Nahr Ibrahim River in Chouwen. It was so peaceful too. There are a lot of places to visit in Lebanon but it seems Chouwen is not that well known!
Afterwards we went to Harissa as it's close to Beirut and was on our way back and we saw incredible views all over the Mountains and Coast.
If you're looking for a day trip from Beirut to see more of Lebanon and looking for things to do in Lebanon be sure to check Explore Lebanon Tours out. I had a great time with them!

Taste Lebanon
Taste Lebanon (@TasteLebanon) brings people from around the world to this beautiful country, opening their eyes as Lebanon opens its heart.
This April, Taste Lebanon was proud to entertain 10 journalists and food writers from the UK and USA to promote a positive side to the country in the Western press, changing the country's image and attracting tourists again by delving deep into this countries culinary heritage. With award winning writers, including David Lebovitz, Anjali Prasertong from The Kitchn, Judy Cogan from The Sunday People, and Kevin Gould from The Guardian, their utter enjoyment and satisfaction has been reflected in much needed coverage for tourism in the country. Filmed and produced by the wonderfully talented duo that is Raspberry & Jam, here's what the journalists had to say about their experience in Lebanon!
