It is a predominantly middle-upper class residential suburb, located 10 kilometres southwest of the centre of Napier. The Taradale Viaduct is a large wrought iron box girder bridge over Back Creek at Taradale, Victoria on the Bendigo Railway in Victoria Australia. It was erected as part of the Melbourne, Mount Alexander and Murray River Railway between 1858 and 1861, and was at the time one of the largest rail bridges built in Australia.Construction of the Bendigo line commenced under the Melbourne, Mount Alexander and Murray River Railway Company in 1858, but this private consortium met with financial difficulties when it was unable to raise sufficient funds, and was bought out by the Victorian colonial government in 1860 when it formed the Victorian Railways Department. Castlemaine is a small city in Victoria, Australia, in the goldfields region of Victoria about 120 kilometres northwest by road from Melbourne and about 40 kilometres from the major provincial centre of Bendigo. City Description:
Napier, a coastal city on New Zealand's North Island, is set amid the renowned wine-producing region of Hawke's Bay. Rebuilt after a 1931 earthquake, the city is known for art deco landmarks like the zigzag-patterned Daily Telegraph Building. Along the tree-lined waterfront promenade the Marine Parade, the Pania of the Reef statue depicting a Maori maiden, is a symbol of the city.Other bayfront attractions include MTG Hawke's Bay, a complex encompassing a performing-arts theatre, art gallery and a museum with exhibits on local Maori heritage and the 1931 earthquake. At the National Aquarium, sea life encounters include swimming with sharks. South of Napier, 399m-high Te Mata Peak offers hiking trails and panoramic views. To the east is Cape Kidnappers headland, which shelters massive Gannet seabirds. The city of Taradale is home to many of the region’s most venerable vineyards, which produce popular red varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon.

Weather and Events:
Peak travel to the city, and nearby wineries and hiking trails, is Dec–Apr, when temperatures are generally mild. The temperate maritime climate also makes for mild winters (Jun–Aug). The Tremains Art Deco Weekend (Feb) celebrates the city's architectural heritage with 1920s- and 1930s-themed events. The Food and Wine Classic Hawke's Bay is a series of culinary events centred on Hawke's Bay's famous wines, staged in both summer (Nov) and winter (Jun).
