Duncan's Cove Hiking Trail | Halifax | Nova Scotia | Canada | Subtitles

In this video we are hiking Duncans Cove in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Being on the Atlantic Ocean, this trail was quite windy and cold, but the views were wonderful. This trail is about half an hour from the main city of Halifax. The trail is very popular. Many people will bring their dogs which is nice - and we were no different.

The trail took about 2-3 hours to complete as it was a 7 kms trek.

This is a very beautiful trail. Being so close to the city, it is one of the best hiking trails in Halifax. I'm not sure that you would want to call this a walking trail near Halifax since there are places where you do need to climb down, and the path in anything but flat and well groomed.

This is a fantastic Maritime hike!

Gaff Point Hiking Trail | Halifax | Bridgewater | Subtitles | Nova Scotia | Canada

In this video we are hiking Gaff Point Hiking Trail in Nova Scotia, Canada.

This trail is location about 1-1.5 hours from the main city of Halifax, near a town called Bridgewater (and Lunenburg) - which is close to Hirtles Beach, NS.

There is a lot of parking at this trail, as there is also a pebble beach here. Once you leave the parking lot and get into the beach, walk all the way down to the end of the beach where you can access the Gaff Point Trail.

The trail is 3.5 kms long round trip. In total from the parking lot its a 6.5 kms trail including the section of beach you need to walk along in order to get to the trail head.

This is a fairly easy hike, with little elevation gain. You are exposed to wind for the majority of the hike, so dress like you're on the ocean!

If you are looking to hike Nova Scotia, this should be one trail that is on your list. It is one of the better hiking Trails in Halifax and maybe on the of the best hikes in Nova Scotia with it's great ocean views!

There are many things to consider when you think Nova Scotia Travel, or even hiking in Canada, but no Nova Scotia Vacation would be complete without a nice hike!

Beautiful Nova Scotia - Harbourville Sunset

This beautiful sunset was captured on a windless night after a beautiful sunny day in May.

There's nothing like the ocean to remind us of the beauty of nature, add a setting sun and a beached boat, voila!

Harbourville is a true fishing village with a fish market, cottages, a bed and breakfast and dining.

ABANDONED LIGHTHOUSE & VACANT ISLAND // MINI VLOG #1

Jackson Lang, and I decide to go check out the old light house that you can see on a clear day from the Fox Island boat launch. Kayaking for about 20 minutes and finally getting the the island. Come to find weird trails and roads leading to cabins with most of the windows broken and no sign of anyone living there. Very eerie! ENJOY!
