Vakantie Griekenland 2017

Dit was onze eerste lange vakantie samen. Wij hebben erg genoten in griekenland.

India's biggest party zone - bigger than any sporting event!

People run as the police officer opens the gate holding Indian National Flag at Wagah Border in Amritsar in Punjab. People clap and a group of women dance at Wagah Border. Two young boys wear T-shirts with Bhagat Singh's photo printed on it. Kids holding Indian flag and they print tricolor on their faces. People hold a banner of orange color with Satyamev Jayate written on it and kids stand in the front row wearing Army uniform. Punjabi girls perform a folk dance of Punjab, they wear traditional Salwar and Suites.

This is a daily military practice carried out by the Indian Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers. There is a drill which is characterized by elaborate and rapid dance-like maneuvers. The ceremony starts with a blustering parade by the soldiers from both the countries followed by the perfectly coordinated lowering of the flags. As the suns sets, the iron gates are opened and then the ceremony ends with a retreat that involves a brusque handshake between soldiers of both the sides. it is followed by the closing of the gates.
The ceremony takes place for 45 minutes and Is carried out before sunset. During winters, the ceremony starts at 4:15 PM and during summer it begins from 4:45 PM.
