Đồng bằng Sông Cửu Long là vùng đất màu mỡ ở phía Tây Nam Việt Nam, do phù sa sông Mekong bồi đắp, còn gọi là miền Tây Nam Bộ, hay gọi tắt là miền Tây.
The Mekong Delta (Vietnamese: Đồng bằng Sông Cửu Long, Nine Dragon river delta or simply Vietnamese: Đồng Bằng Sông Mê Kông, Mekong river delta), also known as the Western Region (Vietnamese: Miền Tây) or the South-western region (Vietnamese: Tây Nam Bộ) is the region in southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a network of distributaries.
Vùng bao gồm 13 đơn vị hành chính trực thuộc trung ương là: tỉnh Long An, tỉnh Tiền Giang, tỉnh Đồng Tháp, tỉnh Vĩnh Long, tỉnh Trà Vinh, tỉnh Hậu Giang, tỉnh Sóc Trăng, tỉnh Bến Tre, tỉnh An Giang, tỉnh Kiên Giang, tỉnh Bạc Liêu, tỉnh Cà Mau và thành phố Cần Thơ.

The beauty of this region can be not described completely through the words. Therefore, tourists should go on a sightseeing tour of the South-western of Vietnam to explore this wonderful place. Southwest of Vietnam is really a great choice for escaping from hustle and bustle cities. Please contemplate the beauty of 13 western provinces in Vietnam through the following clip.

BUDDHIST-THEMED AMUSEMENT PARK (Suoi Tien) // Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Going to Suoi Tien, a Buddhist-themed amusement park, turned out to be one of the funnest days on my trip so far! My friend, Simon, and I ventured out to the suburbs of Saigon to soak in all the cheesy sights and sounds of this gigantic and virtually empty fantasy land. We admired the extravagant temples and larger-than-life statues, fed some crocodiles, and scared ourselves silly with animatronic depictions of hell. But best of all, we reverted to children in a very large playground. I cannot stop smiling when I think about that day!

Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnamese: Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh; About this sound listen, formerly named Saigon (Vietnamese: Sài Gòn; About this sound listen, French: Saïgon), is the largest city in Vietnam. Under the name Saigon, it was the capital of the French colony of Cochinchina and later of the independent republic of South Vietnam from 1955--75. South Vietnam was a capitalist and anti-communist state which fought against the communist North Vietnamese and Viet Cong during the Vietnam War, with the assistance of the United States and other countries. On 30 April 1975, Saigon fell and the war ended with a Communist victory. On 2 July 1976, Saigon merged with the surrounding Gia Định Province and was officially renamed Ho Chi Minh City after Hồ Chí Minh (although the name Sài Gòn is still commonly used).[3]
The metropolitan area, which consists of the Ho Chi Minh City metropolitan area, Thủ Dầu Một, Dĩ An, Biên Hòa and surrounding towns, is populated by more than 9,000,000 people,[nb 1] making it the most populous metropolitan area[4] in Vietnam. The city's population is expected to grow to 13.9 million in 2025.[5]
The Ho Chi Minh City Metropolitan Area, a metropolitan area covering most parts of the Southeast region plus Tiền Giang Province and Long An Province under planning, will have an area of 30,000 square kilometres (11,583 sq mi) with a population of 20 million inhabitants by 2020.[6] According to the Mercer Human Resource Consulting, Economist Intelligence Unit and ECA International, Ho Chi Minh City is ranked 132 on the list of world's most expensive cities for expatriate employees.

The real Vietnam exists, people just need to know where to look.
is a great company for your tour needs from Saigon to the Mekong Delta as well as all over Vietnam and Cambodia. Write Khoi and tell him Kyle sent you! Limited space available too because of his company philosophy of keeping business small in order to not impact the Mekong Delta and turn it into something too touristy.

Magical FLOATING MARKET TOUR in Cai Rang, Vietnam!
The Mekong Delta, also known as the Western Region (Vietnamese: Miền Tây) or the South-western region (Vietnamese: Tây Nam Bộ) is the region in southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a network of distributaries. The Mekong delta region encompasses a large portion of southwestern Vietnam of over 40,500 square kilometres (15,600 sq mi).
The Mekong Delta has been dubbed as a biological treasure trove. Over 1,000 animal species were recorded between 1997 and 2007 and new species of plants, fish, lizards, and mammals have been discovered in previously unexplored areas, including the Laotian rock rat, thought to be extinct

Travel Flip-Flops - Vietnam Can Tho
If Saigon were a romantic and enthusiastic young girl, then Can Tho would be a seasoned elderly woman who lives in the countryside. Her stories flow with the Mekong River. Welcome to Can Tho, welcome to the private island called Azerai.
