In this episode, we spend the day with Manao Kagawa, a young shogi professional player. Shogi, that we can simply describe as Japanese chess, is a Japanese board strategy game that shares the same roots as chess. Kagawa started playing in 3rd grade and turned pro when she was still 15 years old.
As it is a traditional game, players, especially professionals, wear a kimono when playing. Our first stop with Kagawa will be at Shirataki Gofukuten, a kimono shop that traditionally provides kimonos for shogi players since more than 150 years. It also organizes a yearly shogi tournament for women, where the winner is awarded with a kimono.
We will then head towards the Sendagaya area to the Hatonomori shrine, which is a shrine dedicated to shogi. Many shogi players gather here at the start of each year for a traditional ceremony where they pray to the shogi gods.
Close to the shrine lies the Shogi Kaikan, which are the headquarters of the Japan Shogi Association and the main practice center for most shogi players, including Kagawa. As a pro, she now plays on the upper floors of the building, where each of her game results is archived and contributes to her rank.
Our last stop will be at the Jinro room in Shibuya, one of the rare spaces in Tokyo dedicated to the Werewolf game, one of Kagawa’s passions. She will tell us more about her vision about games and the importance they play in her life.

Flamingo Birds In Singapore Zoo And Bird Park- Places To Visit In Singapore
For of these kinds of more birds to see visit this blog -
Singapore: A vibrant and cosmopolitan city state
Local attractions: an architecture of multi-ethnic
Sightseeing in Singapore No doubt Singapore offers visitors a range of cultural and leisure similar to many European capitals. And with an added incentive: a stunning architectural collage as a result of the diverse geographic origin of its inhabitants (which have their origin in regions of Indian, Chinese and Arab world, among others). In the following lines, are some of the tourist areas of the city.
Arab Street: This attery dotted bazaars and craft shops is one of the most evocative places for shopping. Among the products offered, include baskets, rugs, camel leather bags and all kinds of garments. Also, the options of this street is not at all negligible. As most remarkable building, include the Sultan Mosque, crowned by an imposing golden dome. Originating in 1826, the current building dates from 1928 and has become the most important center of worship for the Muslim community in Singapore. The carpet is a gift from a Saudi prince.
Colonial Neighborhood: This area is north of Chinatown. Become a business center, noted for its colonial buildings, among which are counted Parliament and the Council, in which Singapore declared independence from the United Kingdom in 1959. However, this sector also has significant religious buildings? Like the churches of the Good Shepherd and Saint Andrew or the convents of the Child Jesus and Saint Gregory?, Museums? For example, the Museum of Fine Arts and the National Philatelic Museum? the legendary Raffles Hotel (1899) and the Fort Canning, a point which affords an exceptional panoramic view of Singapore.
Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom Museum: This is a park where you can find many species of butterflies and fireflies. A unique and colorful spectacle entirely recommended.
Chinatown: Chinatown, which is characterized by its labyrinthine alleys, is located southwest of the city and south of the Singapore River. Without doubt, one of its most visited attractions is the Thian Hock Keng (or Temple of Heavenly Bliss). Located at 158 Telok Ayer Street, was erected between 1830 and 1942 by Chinese immigrants and dedicated to the goddess Ma Cho Po, patron deity of the sea and sailors, whose image was brought to Singapore in 1840. The other jewel in the crown is the Sri Mariamman Temple, which stands at number 244, South Bridge Road. Built in 1823, it is the oldest Hindu shrine in the city. The building stands out for its variegated façade, richly decorated with floral motifs, representations of gods and warriors. Although modern buildings in Chinatown have spared the old world charm, the area still allows for men and women performing traditional tasks such as drivers palanquins or sculptors.
Chapel Changi Prison and Museum: This is one of the least famous of Sinagapur museums, but perhaps one of the most emotional. This chapel which houses a building built by Allied prisoners during World War II. Inside, the institution in question? Located at Upper Changi North Road? exhibits photographs and personal items that bring visitors to the Japanese occupation period (1942-1945).
Botanical Garden: This green area, located at the intersection of Holland Road and Napier Street, was promoted in 1859 by the Singapore Agri-Horticultural Society. However, we would expect the twentieth century to assist your moment of great height, due to the benefits generated by the exploitation of the rubber tree. The boom would be completed after 1928, when the garden director, Eric Holttum, launched the first laboratories for cultivation and hybridization of orchids, a practice that also enjoyed significant commercial potential.
Chinese Garden: It sits on Yuan Ching Road in Jurong area, and is an admirable example of the traditional architecture of the Asian giant. Its area is 35 acres.
Zoo: This enclave, located at number 80 Mandai Lake Road, accommodates 1,200 copies corresponding to 240 species of animals, including orangutans. The park is open from 09.00 h to 16.00 h.
Reptiles and Bird Park Jurong: Located west of the city? Specifically on Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim?, This natural area allows visitors to see about 600 species of birds, amphibians and reptiles. The exhibition is open from 09.00 to 18.00 h.
Little India: This neighborhood was built on the first camps of workers from India, and began to consolidate from the first decade of the twentieth century. Among its most important buildings are the temples of Sri Veeramakaliamman and Sri Srinivasa Perumal (1885 and dedicated to the god Vishnu), Angullia Mosque (Masjid Angullia), the Methodist Church of Kampong Steam and Tekka Mall, a market that brings various fishmongers.

[FuOkin' UTS] To be kicked out of University of Technology, Sydney gopro
Thank you very very very much for finding this tiny channel and watching the video!!!!!!!!!
ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー
When I tried to stay at a University of Technology, Sydney, I was kicked out............lol
The University of Technology Sydney originates from the Sydney Mechanics' School of Arts (the oldest continuously running Mechanics' Institute in Australia), which was established in 1833.[5] In the 1870s, the School formed the Workingman's College, which was later taken over by the NSW government to form, in 1882, the Sydney Technical College.[1]
In 1940 the NSW Parliament passes Act to establish an Institute of Technology, which in 1964 lead to the establishment of New South Wales Institute of Technology (NSWIT). In 1968, amalgamation of the NSW Institute of Business Studies and the NSW Institute of Technology took place. In 1976 NSWIT establishes the first law school in NSW outside the university sector. In 1985 the Haymarket Campus is officially opened.
The university consists of 9 faculties and schools:
Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
School of Business
Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building
Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology
Graduate School of Health
Faculty of Health
Faculty of Law
Faculty of Science
Faculty of Transdisciplinary Innovation
