Erice is a historic town located in the clouds, 750 meters above Trapani, Sicily, on top of Mount Erice. The town is lined with cobblestone streets, castles from the Norman times, and ancient walls. If you spend enough time in Erice, you will inevitable be swarmed by cool clouds that mist past you with the wind. Erice is a beautiful place to visit and is only about a 20 min cable ride from Trapani Sicily. If you are wondering, a round trip ticket for the cable car is 9 euro, just make sure not to lose your ticket before taking the car back. There are many shops are restaurants in Erice, but the real treat is the view!

Un veloce soggiorno in Toscana con Lisa. Siamo arrivati a Pistoia per poi soggiornare a Montecatini Terme e siamo stati un'intera giornata nella piscina di Grotta Giusti. Abbiamo concluso il viaggio con una toccata e fuga a Firenze. Enjoy! :)

Sono tre isolotti disabitati, quello a forma di Delfino, Gallo Lungo, è il più affascinante, le sue foto, ogni volta, fanno il giro del mondo. È conosciuto anche come le Sirenuse perchè si narra che qui abitassero le sirene che ammalliavano con i loro canti i marinai facendo naufragare le loro navi. La mitologia narra che solo due navi sono scampate a questo destino: quella di Ulisse e quella degli Argonauti. Li Galli, il paradiso privato più affascinante del Mediterraneo, ha da sempre esercitato un grande fascino, tanto da renderla ambita a molti personaggi famosi. Oggi è una proprietà privata dal valore inestimabile, con 3 ville, la torretta con 13 stanze, un eliporto, tre piscine e due barche. Può essere visitata o affittatta per i più ricchi. Il nome Li Galli deriva dalla mitologia arcaica greca che raffigurava le sirene come metà donna metà uccello.

La Pelosa beach (Spiaggia della Pelosa), with its shallow turquoise waters and salty white sands, is a true Sardinian oasis and arguably one of the best beaches of Europe. One of the westernmost beaches of Sardinia, La Pelosa is just 2 kilometers away from the harbour village of Stintino, in Capo Falcone, in the province of Sassari. The beach is 300 meters long – and up to 60 meters wide in some spots – and faces north-east, offering marvelous views of Isola Piana situated 600 meters off the coast and the larger Isola Asinara behind it.
La Pelosa beach is accompanied by an ancient sixteenth century watchtower, the Torre della Pelosa, that used to be part of Sardinia’s marine defense system. Since this is a popular diving area, there are two diving centers in the vicinity: the Asinara Diving Center, and the Roccaruja Diving Center. Both offer diving excursions in the Capo Falcone area. Surfboards and canoes are for rent at the Stintino Windsurfing Center nearby.
The beach can get crowded during peak season in July and August, but if you find yourself in the area of Sassari or Porto Torres, La Pelosa beach is definitely worth a visit. For many Europeans, La Pelosa is a marvelous opportunity to experience the Caribbean at a fraction of the cost.
