Tylicz [ˈtɨlʲit͡ʂ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Krynica-Zdrój, within Nowy Sącz County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia. It lies approximately 6 kilometres east of Krynica-Zdrój, 35 km south-east of Nowy Sącz, and 108 km south-east of the regional capital Kraków.The village has a population of 1,800. The history of Tylicz dates back to the 13th century, when a settlement called Ornamentum was founded along merchant trail from Poland to Hungary.
