Trip to Samcheok
Samcheok in Gangwon province is a city that provides visitors a beautiful natural landscape. As you can browse glimpse of scenic ocean when you have a chance to visit Samcheok. The main sites of the area such as Daegeumgul Cave which is formed naturally erosion and tectonic movement as you can see geological spectacle view. And also you will be able to enjoy fresh seafood around place. Just keep your mind :)

One of the biggest holiday of the year in Korea is Buddha's Birthday, celebrated by millions of people. My second of five videos to celebrate this wonderful holiday is at Beopju Temple. I chose this temple to visit because it has one of the most beautiful and tallest standing Buddha figure in Korea. I would recommend anyone who is around Songnisan National Park, South Korea to visit this temple. 2012 Labor Day Dive Trip
So this weekend we toured the South Korean East Coast despite the typhoons and tropical storms that were happening all week prior and during the weekend. We wouldn't let a little storm stop us from diving. We started our weekend by driving to Scuba Camp located in Samcheok where we were able to get in a few day dives and a great night dive in some pretty rough conditions. Sunday we headed up to the 38th Parallel (of course) and got in 3 nice boat dives from 38th Marine dive shop. On the last day, Monday, we decided to go back to a dive shop that we haven't been to in a while; Sacheon Dive Resort. The resort got a facelift and almost doubled in size. We had 2 GREAT dives where we saw some nice growth and even a jet boat underwater.

Deokgu valley is located in the foothills of the southern MT. eungbong(san).
Korea's only natural hot springs famous eruption of the original bath is deokguoncheon.
This may also intersect with the valley and along a winding mountain road about 4km from the entrance, about 1 hour to walk. You can find wontang( original bath).
Across the valley of the Golden Gate Bridge, noreumangdigyo, habeogyo, domoegawagyo so famous bridges from around the world would have created far. Walking is good. A lot of people find peace, even.

Travel Korea: Makgeolli Wine Tour at Sami Inju @Amy Moncure
Travel Korea: Cheongsan Noksu Winery - Sami Inju 사미인주 Makgeolli 사미인주 막걸리 in Jangseong
The Cheongsan Noksu Makgeolli Winery in Jangseong, South Korea specializes in making Sami Inju Makgeolli 사미인주 막걸리, a rice wine with honey. Interestingly enough, the distillery is in a converted elementary school.
We had the privilege of learning from Professor Kim Jin Man, the CEO of Cheongsan Noksu and the Director of Brewing Science and Technology Research Center at the Chonnam National University. Before the tour, we sampled the Sami Inju Makgeolli, partnered with fresh vegetables and a special bean paste made from the rice and yeast used during the brewing process.
Professor Kim Jin Man explained the distillation process, the aging process, and showed us how the large Nuruk (누룩) cakes are made with rice, wheat, and barley. These cakes are stored in an ondol room until mold begins to form so that the nuruk can be used as a fermentation starter in the makgeolli wine. We learned that the Sami Inju Makgeolli is made from 100% Jangseong rice. Not only does this increase the quality of the makgeolli, but using local rice products also improves the economics in the region. In addition to organic rice, Sami Inju uses honey to sweeten the wine instead of aspartame or other artificial sweeteners in order to reduce hangovers.
