Ulucz [ˈulut͡ʂ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dydnia, within Brzozów County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. The village has a population of 150. It lies approximately 9 kilometres east of Dydnia, 20 km east of Brzozów, and 44 km south-east of the regional capital Rzeszów. The Boyko population of the area used to call the village Ulicz, before being expelled during Operation Vistula. Before that, the main population of the village was Ukrainian. The village suffered considerable damage in the Second World War, and today it only consists of a few dozen houses.

Bieszczady County is a unit of territorial administration and local government in Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in the extreme south-east of Poland, on the border with Ukraine. Lake Solina is an artificial lake in the Bieszczady Mountains region, more precisely in Lesko County of the Subcarpathian Voivodship of Poland. Its coordinates are 49°22′27″N 22°27′8″E. The lake was created in 1968 by the construction of the Solina Dam on the San River. It has an area of 22 square kilometres and contains 472,000,000 cubic metres of water, making it Poland's largest artificial lake. It is the best known tourist attraction of the region, with waterside villages like Solina, Myczkowce and Polańczyk catering to watersports enthusiasts.
