    Czantoria Wielka or Wielka Czantoria is a mountain on the border of Poland and the Czech Republic , in the Silesian Beskids mountain range and historical region of Cieszyn Silesia. It reaches a height of 995 meters. Parts of the mountain on both sides are designated a protected area.It is distinct for its steep slopes in the east and the west. Mostly coniferous trees grow on its slopes. It is the largest peak of the Czech part of the Silesian Beskids. There is a 29 m-high lookout tower on the mountain and mountain hut on the Czech side of the mountain. The mountain hut was constructed in 1904 by the German tourist association Beskidenverein, and was named Erzherzogin Isabella Schutzhaus in honor of Archduchess Isabella of Austria. Opened in the 13th century, the mine produced table salt continuously until 2007, as one of the world's oldest salt mines in operation. The Park has its headquarters in the village of Zawoja. The park covers an area of 33.92 square kilometres , of which forests occupy 31.98 km2 . The park includes the northern and part of the southern side of the Babia Góra massif, of which the main peak is the highest point of the Orava Beskids mountain range at 1,725 metres . There is a protected area Horná Orava Protected Landscape Area on the Slovak side of the massif.
