WHALES AND WATERFALLS?! — Uvita, Costa Rica — Costa Rica Travel Vlog
Join us on a day trip from Quepos / Manuel Antonio to Uvita for some WHALE WATCHING! Don't tell Nari though, it's her birthday and it's a secret =)
Uvita is about 1 hour south from Quepos, just past another cool spot called Dominical. Both Dominical and Quepos are hippie towns that are worth a visit.
I'm throwing a link to the Flutterby House in Uvita Costa Rica, not because they asked me to, but because they were totally awesome and made this vlog (+ those tequila shots) possible with their generosity!!

Cristal Ballena Hotel Resort & Spa: Costa Rica is located on the southwest coast in Costa Rica.

Marino Ballena National Park Costa Rica
Marino Ballena National Park is one of the most beautiful national parks in Costa Rica. It was created to protect the wildlife, specifically the humpback whales that pass through there and encompasses both land and water. There is a section of the beach where two beaches come together to create what the locals call Whale's Tail.

Uvita Costa Rica Airbnb | Casa Mia Walkthrough Video | Marino Ballena National Park
The Airbnb we stayed at on the first leg of our trip to Costa Rica last month was absolutely gorgeous in every respect: tropical landscaping, the private backyard with a perfectly sized pool plus a covered BBQ/outdoor kitchen area, two of the three (all air-conditioned) bedrooms each had their own sliding glass doors, which allowed instant access to the amenities in the backyard; super tall ceilings (makes the space feel larger and helps with airflow), and amazingly functional and modern bathrooms (don't you hate slipping in bathtubs?)...But the best part above all? Parque Nacional Marino Ballena is but a few hundred meters away!! This world-class beach with a super distinct Whale Tail is only a five-minute walk to the front door of this jaw-dropping property. Honestly, the toughest decision we had to make was whether we should start our day in the pool, or be some of the first people swimming at the beach...decisions, decisions!!
