Hungary is one of the 15 most popular tourist destinations in the world, with a capital regarded as one of the most beautiful in the world [2]. Despite its relatively small size, the country is home to numerous World Heritage Sites, UNESCO Biosphere reserves, the second largest thermal lake in the world (Lake Hévíz), the largest lake in Central Europe (Lake Balaton), and the largest natural grassland in Europe (Hortobágy). In terms of buildings, Hungary is home to the largest synagogue in Europe (Great Synagogue), the largest medicinal bath in Europe (Széchenyi Medicinal Bath), the third largest church in Europe (Esztergom Basilica), the second largest territorial abbey in the world (Pannonhalma Archabbey), the second largest Baroque castle in the world (Gödöllő), and the largest Early Christian Necropolis outside Italy (Pécs).
You can expect to find safe food and water, good safety and a generally stable political climate.
Hungary doesn't attract terrorists and keeps drug and crime levels moderate.
Hungary has been ethnically diverse since its inception, and while today over 90% of the population are ethnically Hungarian, pockets of ethnic and cultural Slovaks, Romanians, Germans and others dot the country. Due to the border changes of Hungary after World War I, over 2 million ethnic and cultural Hungarians live in bordering countries, as well. The Hungarians, otherwise known as Magyars, are the descendants of several tribes from Central Asia, who were believed to be fierce, nomadic horsemen and came to Central Europe in the 9th century.

Thrilling Hike in the Mountains of Sichuan // This is China
Jianmen Pass makes for an incredible weekend trip from Chengdu, especially for thrill seekers. It's possible to hike along a mountain cliff edge, harnessed to a wire or chain, with foot-paths as narrow as a couple feet. It's not for the feint of heart, but the views are some of the best in the province. This part of the hike cost 65 RMB, which includes the equipment (harness and helmet), some instructions, and they even took our blood pressure before deeming us worthy.
Jianmenguan is also the home to a giant military gate that has been called the world's most impregnable pass. It was originally built around the 4th century BC, during the Warring State Period. Thirty thousand soldiers from Shu (now Sichuan) were able to hold off 100,000 invaders from Shaanxi because of the strategic position of the gate. The gate that stands there now was built in 2009, but it's still an incredible sight, and it shows you how strategically placed it was.
The pass is also apart of the Shu Roads, a series of ancient roads that connected Chinese provinces.
ADMISSION:
Jianmen Pass Scenic Area is 100 RMB.
Additional costs include cable cars (50 RMB per trip), the slide way - a giant slide that goes part-way down the mountain (30 RMB), the cliff-side hike (65 RMB), a 4D Cinema (50 RMB), and various buses around the park (10-15 RMB).

HOW TO GET TO JIANMEN PASS:
China changes so fast that it's hard to give accurate information. At the time of posting this, there is only a slow train to Guangyuan, however in about a week they'll be opening the high speed train from Chengdu to Xi'an, which will stop at Jianmenguan. When that opens (around the end of 2017), it will be possible to get to the park in an hour or 2. But until then, the bus is the best way to get there.
From Chengdu's Zhaojuesi Bus Station (昭觉寺汽车客运站 - 166 Zhaoqing Cross Rd) take a bus to Guangyuan (buses run from 7:40 AM to 6 PM and take about 3.5-4 hours). Stay overnight in Guangyuan and then in the morning go to Guangyuan Nanhe Bus Station to catch one of the buses directly to Jianmen Pass Scenic Area (7:40 AM or 8:40 AM), or take a taxi there.

Best freshwater diving spot in the world.

Located near Capestrano, L'Aquilla in Italy. The lake of Capo d'Acqua is a truly unique diving site. A diver can visit two submerged medieval mills. However, the site is on private property and a permission to dive there is needed.
According to Scubadiving magazine & a other websites, this dive site ranks high in the charts of best freshwater diving.

Remarkable is the visibility of the water. During our visit we had a bad viz according to the local divers. It was 30m (in Summer). During the winter, a visibility of about 60m is possible.

Szentendre is a riverside town in Pest county, Hungary, near the capital city Budapest. It is known for its museums, galleries and artists.
Due to its historic architecture and easy rail and river access, it has become a popular destination for tourists staying in Budapest. There are many facilities, including souvenir shops and restaurants, catering to these visitors.
The name of the town is ultimately based on the Medieval Latin form Sankt Andrae (English: St.Andrew). Because of the diverse mix of nations to have once settled in Szentendre, the settlement has a variety of names according to language. The Hungarian name for the town is Szentendre; the German name is Sankt Andrä; in Serbian, the name is Sentandreja (Serbian Cyrillic: Сентандреја); the Slovak name is Svätý Ondrej.
History
Populated for well over a millennium in ancient times, under the Romans it was called Ulcisia Castra, meaning Wolf Castle for their fort.
Since the Middle Ages, Szentendre and the surrounding villages had also been settled by many Bulgarians. In 1690, the Serbian teacher and hegumen Stevan wrote that Szentendre was called Bolgarija by some. The Bulgarian neighbourhood included Catholic settlers from Chiprovtsi and a Roman Catholic Chiprovtsi church (Csiprovacska templom). The names of many locals show Bulgarian ancestry.
Since the 16th century, the town was considered the center of the Serb community in this part of Hungary. At one point it had as many as eight Serbian Orthodox church buildings and three chapels, and only one each Roman-Catholic and Evangelical. It is still the see of the Buda Diocese of the Serb Orthodox Church.
In the 18th century, after liberation from the Ottomans, the Crown recruited farmers and artisans from Germany and southern Slavs to repopulate areas that had been occupied by the Ottomans. Szentendre enjoyed a rebirth, with new settlers including Serbian, Croatian, Slovak, and Greek immigrants, who settled alongside the Magyar residents. According to the 1720 data, 88% of the population of the town were South Slavs (mostly Serbs, but also some South Slavic Catholics). The town to this day is characterised by southern European elements, including baroque architecture, churches of various faiths, narrow sidestreets, and cobblestone roads.
