Vacaria is a municipality in the northeast of the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. It is located at a latitude of 28° 30' 44 South and a longitude of 50° 56' 02 west, with an altitude of 971 meters. Its population in 2010 was estimated to be 61,345 inhabitants. The total area of the city is 2105.6 km². The city is known in Brazil for its climate and its production of apples. Its Catedral Nossa Senhora da Oliveira is the episcopal see of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Vacaria, which was founded in 1937 as a territorial prelature.

Serra do Rio do Rastro is a mountain range located in the southeast of the state of Santa Catarina, Southern Brazil. It is crossed by the road SC-438, with remarkable landscapes and deep cliffs. This mountain range is situated between the municipalities of Lauro Müller and Bom Jardim da Serra, and its highest point is situated at 1,460 metres above sea level. In the highest areas of this place, the Atlantic Ocean, located about 100 km away, can be spotted on clear days. Frosts are common and snowfalls can occur in the highest areas.

Another problem caused by the accumulation of Beautiful Snow at a given site is that it accumulates waste with ease. Rio Negrinho nos impressiona. Nos encanta, e nos revela adoráveis surpresas a cada nova visita.

Desta vez, fomos até o Hotel das Araucárias, do Mário e da Denise.

Um lugar incrível, que oferece alguns serviços especiais para o cicloturista, como lavação de bike, e revisão e manutenção noturna. Enquanto o ciclista descansa, o mecânico dá aquele trato na bicileta, para que o ciclista possa seguir tranquilo e confiante.

Sem contar a estonteante natureza que cerca o local, com direito a trilhas ecológicas, tão largas, que são possíveis de serem feitas com a bike, em uma tranquilidade sem igual.
