Thottada Beach is situated on Kannur-Tellichery highway 8 km away from Kannur Railway station in Kannur District between Kannur town and Thalassery in Kerala state, South India. The Sree Narayana College , Government Vocational Higher Secondary School Kannur Polytechnic, Kannur ITI and the Institute of Handloom and Textile Technology are located in Thottada. Thottada is also a scenic village. Thottada beach is an ideal place for a sunbathing and swimming. There are a beach house and guest houses offering accommodation at reasonable price.

Overbury's Folly is a seaside park with a watch tower. It is located less than a kilometer from Thalassery, a commercial town on the Malabar Coast in the Kannur district, Kerala, India. It is named after its builder, E.N. Overbury, who served as a local judge at Thalassery in the 1870s. In 1879, Overbury wanted to construct a picnic area at the cliff. He couldn't complete it, but the spot later earned the name Overbury's Folly. It commands sweeping views of the Arabian Sea. Today, Overbury's Folly has been renovated and redecorated as a tourist attraction. It is frequented by local people in the evenings as a place to relax and watch the sun set. A seaside open-air coffee shop has also been opened there.

natural place in kozhikode district of gods own country, well blessed with nature. It is a very unknown, beautiful peak. About 12 km from balusseri.. bike is a better option because road after bus stop is not good. Most roads are with rough stones.

peruvannamuyi and kakkayam Dam view point is the main attraction in this place. An amazing View of peruvannamuzhi dam is possible from top of vayada dam view point.

The view is only possible if the climate is good. Some time the atomosphere may foggy. We got a very pleasent atmosphere at top. So I could capture top views very well.the best time for visit before 9 am and after 4 pm

Exploring Mahe - Kochi to Goa Road Trip Part - 3

After visiting Sargaalaya Crafts Village in Iringal near Vadakara (Video URL: our next destination was Mahe.

Mahe is a small place located in between Kozhikode and Kannur district in Kerala which is a part of Union Territory Pondicherry. Petroleum products and liquor are cheaper in Mahe. So it is advisable to fill fuel from Mahe.

The main attraction of Mahe is the seaside walkway, light house and St Teresa's Shrine. Mahe railway station still has the old style board and written the Malayalam name Mayyazhi on it. Mahe is well connected by road & train. The nearest airport is Kozhikode.

After visiting Mahe, I moved to Thalassery. There I visited the famous Thalassery Sea Bridge. The bridge is really in a bad state and authorities must have to look into it to make some necessary maintenance to keep it safe.

My next video is of Muzhuppilangadu Beach and it is one of the best driving beaches in India.
