Beach Towns Australia - Nambucca Heads
Nambucca Heads is a town on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia in Nambucca Shire. It is a holiday and retirement centre located on a ridge north of the estuary of the Nambucca River near the Pacific Highway, which now bypasses it. Its 2006 population was 6,137, including 445 (7.3%) indigenous persons and 5,058 (82.4%) Australian-born persons in the Shire.[1] The place name is derived from an aboriginal word meaning 'entrance to the waters'.[4]
The town is located on the North Coast railway line, and is served by the three daily XPT services. Nambucca is the current and historical homeland of the Gumbaynggirr people. Gumbaingirr lands stretch from Pillar Valley, Tyndale, Grafton and Copmanhurst in the north, to Glen Innes, Guyra and Black Mountain to the west, and to Bowraville to the south.[5] The Nambucca River separated the Gumbaynggirr from the Dunghutti Ngaku. The name Nambucca comes from an Aboriginal word, ngambugka, variously translated as winding or crooked river, and as entrance to the waters. [5]
Europeans may have explored the area in 1818, and John Oxley surveyed the area in 1820.
The cutting of Australian red cedar had started in the area by 1842. It is believed that the first house was built in 1867, when about 50 people had settled in the valley to cut cedar or raise corn. The site of the town was surveyed in 1874 and the first hotel and school were both established in 1884. It was proclaimed a village in 1885.[6] The North Coast railway was extended from Taree to south Grafton in 1915, but the station at Nambucca Heads was not opened until 1923.[7]
Nambucca also has one of the oldest surf lifesaving clubs in Australia and also invented junior surf lifesaving known as Nippers.

Miami, Florida Travel Guide - Must-See Attractions
Miami is a city located on the Atlantic coast in southeastern Florida and the county seat of Miami-Dade County. The 42nd largest city proper in the United States, with a population of 408,568, it is the principal, central, and most populous city of the Miami metropolitan area, and the most populous metropolis in the Southeastern United States.
The most important places to visit in Miami are: Ocean Drive (the yearlong party atmosphere makes Ocean Drive the most exhilarating place in the United States), Art Deco Architecture (nowhere else in the world would you find such a concentration of colorful Art Deco style buildings), Vizcaya Museum and Gardens (a national historical landmark. It is a European style villa surrounded by lush gardens), Everglades (a unique natural environment. Get close and personal with alligators. Airboat rides are highly recommended), Beaches (some of the country's best beaches are here, and clearly the most fashionable) and many more.
If you want to save time and money, the most important Miami travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. You can do this for free on a site that searches through hundreds of other travel websites in real time for the best travel deals available.

We Tried Turkish Street Food in Istanbul
Trying Turkish food in Istanbul. We have just arrived in Turkey and you know how much we love finding local food, so we are heading out in Istanbul to try out some of the local Turkey food.
On our way to breakfast we had to grab a walking snack called Simet before finding Van Kahvalti to have a traditional Turkish breakfast plus menemen and free flowing Turkish tea. We were lucky enough to try a winter based drink called Salep aka warm Christmas soup.
The coffee machine was broken so we headed to Konotrop for some hipster Australian coffee and hipster Turkish coffee before having the craziest ice cream experience in our life!
After the break we head to Sutlac Nizam Pide to try what we thought was Turkish Pizza (Pide) at least we managed to have a taste of Ayran...not sure if we regret it haha!
From there we head to the Bosphorus to try Balik Ekmek and pickle juice...I have no idea where we found the room to try Borek on the way to the spice market...but not before trying some more coffee.
To end it all we went to Gullouglu to have some Baklava!
Thanks for watching everyone hope you enjoyed it :)

Oz'17 (WA) - Kalbarri NP & Shark Bay
Due to road works, the main road into Kalbarri NP was unfortunately inaccessible; yet, a brief stop close to the park exit provided at least some insight into the rugged sandstone nature of the many canyons of this landscape. Not far, Hamelin Pool is one of the few places on earth, where living stromatolites can be found and was therefore put on the UNESCO world heritage list. During low tide they offer a spectacular photo opt, particularly during dusk or dawn and can scenically be accessed via the jetty. Just 60 km to the north west lies a bay known as shell beach since the whole beach is made of small, intact sea shells, giving you a quite unique barefoot feeling put into a spectacular surrounding inviting for a swim. Legal night stays are quite rare in this area so make sure to arrive in time on one of the campgrounds in Denham (yes they are expensive, but still cheaper than the ranger's fine...), which is the ideal start to drop by in Monkey Mia's dolphin 'sanctuary the next day. Monkey Mia' offers voluntary dolphin breakfast (for the dolphins only), which can be attended and actively served to the dolphins that decided to stop by. Unluckily the way to Monkey Mia is one-way, so get comfortable driving 150 km back to the Great Northern Highway (1) to continue for another 200 km to Carnarvon. Past Carnarvon, I left the Great Northern Highway (1) towards Coral Bay and spend the night on the Termite Nest Rest Area, easily spottable in the Wiki Camps AU app.
PS: Thanks to Wiki Camps AU for easily finding night stays, free showers, water and all the other stuff that facilitates the life in a camper van so much!
