The Castle of Vimianzo , also known as Torres de Martelo , is located at the entrance of the town of Vimianzo , in the town hall of the same name, province of La Coruña . At present it hosts a permanent exhibition of popular crafts.
Castillo de Vimianzo is in very good condition. It conserves parts of century XIII , although the majority belong to the centuries XIV and XV. The building has irregular polygonal floor plan adapting to the terrain. It consists of three rectangular defensive towers around a courtyard of weapons in addition to the tribute tower , with its cantilevered battlements. The diamond-studded battlements that once surrounded the entire castle are only preserved in the Tower of Homage and in the walk of one of the walls.
Its perimeter is surrounded in its entirety by a deep moat. It also preserves the way of round and in the doorway of entrance to the patio you can see the shield with the head of wolf of Moscoso.
The closeness of the fortress to the coast allowed him to control the commercial routes of the North Sea , the sardine and salt business, and rescue the booty of ships that were wrecked on these coasts.

Castillo de Soutomaior
El Castillo de Soutomaior está situado en un lugar verdaderamente privilegiado por el amplio paisaje que desde allí se divisa, a unos 119 metros sobre el nivel del mar, dominando el territorio enmarcado por el valle del río Verdugo, desde su confluencia con el río Oitavén hasta a su desembocadura en la ensenada de San Simón, en Arcade.
A lo largo de la Edad Media tuvo una doble función: el control señorial del territorio sobre el valle y el dominio feudal, como símbolo del poder político.
La construcción original data del siglo XII, aún que será con Pedro Álvarez de Sotomayor, conocido por el apodo de Pedro Madruga, con el que alcance su máximo esplendor, ya que llego a ser el epicentro de la actividad política del sur de Galicia durante el siglo XV; él fue quien enseñoreó la fortaleza en la segunda mitad de este siglo, hasta su fallecimiento en 1.486.
Noble gallego, con intereses más próximos al reino de Portugal, se enfrentó a varios de los señores de Galicia, librando múltiples batallas que le permitieron dominar buena parte del sur del territorio.
En los años 70 del siglo XV se vigilaba una muy próxima fortaleza enemiga, la de Castrizán, en el monte de A Peneda, edificada por el arzobispo de Santiago de Compostela, que fue atacada desde aquí en el año 1.479 hasta ser derribada.

Hyperlapses. Feiyu G6 // YI 4K + // YI 4K. Field tests.
Hello everyone!
Last month the Feiyu guys (Huge thanks to Dobby!) gave me the opportunity to test their last gimbal for action cameras, the Feiyu G6.
So I decided to do a test, like in the old days with my combo GitUp Git2 / Feiyu WG, but this time I decided to focus on its operation for hyperlapses, that is, in locked mode.
This G6 looks more premium or well finished than my dear WG, the advance of technology in this field has been noticed a lot in these years: Fast and easy controls at your fingertips, rubber finish, 360º infinite pan and tilt, and much more connectivity, allowing calibrate it via app, much less tedious than the WG method.
Also, even though neither the YI 4K, nor the YI 4K + are waterproof, they resist a few water drops, and I've always been more afraid of the gimbals than the cameras (which can survive perfectly some minutes under the rain if you simply obstruct the 'holes') , but now I have the confidence that the gimbal will also resist in almost any weather condition :P
To be honest, it's not perfect, in fact in locked mode suffers some small horizontal shakes every little bit, as if it wanted to reorient itself... But in general, it works like a charm, and the stabilization is amazing. Definitely a must for its price and one of the best and more complete gimbals for action cameras.
The entire video is made by PHOTOS taken with the YI 4K + (thanks to Fernando from YI Technology Spain) and the YI 4K.
And speaking about the YI 4K +, after different tests, I think that at color/exposure level, it offers slightly better performance in the 'YI Color' mode, than the 'Flat color'.
The flat color (and the color in general) in the YI 4K is simply great.
I hope that in future firmware updates, the YI 4K plus can finally get its full potential as it happened with the YI 4K
The photos are taken last month in the Ribeira Sacra (Miño river), from one of the many boats that allow you to see the green landscape and the vineyards.
On the other hand there is the 'old' Castle of Vimianzo that is relatively close to Finisterre (Fisterra), a place that you have to visit as is Ézaro and its beautiful waterfall.
