Istria roadtrip, Vražji prolaz - Motovun - Rovinj
First roadtrip video is here! We dicided that our first stop will be Devill’s pass, placed in Gorski kotar and only 120 km from Zagreb! It’s perfect place to get lost in nature, the only thing you can hear there is sound of a river and birds! After exploring Devill’s pass we were back on our way to Motovun. Placed on the hill in central Istria Motovun is a charming village with a beautiful view’s and colorful buildings. Next day we decided to shoot sunrise in Motovun and move up to Rovinj for sunset. How it was check out in video!
All comments and suggestions are welcome!

The best of Istria Croatia
Istria Croatia, also sometimes known as the 'The Croatian Tuscany', has many beautiful landscapes be they on the coast around towns such as Pula, Porec and Rovinj - or around inland rural villages such as Medulin, Oprtalj, Pazin and Buzet. Looking at a map of Istria you will see that the region juts out into the Adriatic sea and therefore is virtually surrounded by water. Visit Istria and you will experience many wonderful sights that will catch your eye such as medieval hilltop villages populated with characteristically Istrian dwellings and Croatian properties, vineyards producing world class wines, glorious countryside famous for its truffles and of course a coastline to suit all tastes.

#50 - Istria, Croatia - Parenzana (4/4) - Grožnjan
Finally, the beautiful city of Grožnjan, as part and finish of my Parenzana trail experience! Didn't know anything about the place prior to visit and after somewhat disappointing Motovun, I had no expactations. I was too tired for that. :) But it turned out to be a real gem. On top of a hill, with incredible views but the real amazement is within.
Stunning old stone houses, mostly renovated and in great condition, with incredible wooden doors and windows, pavement, small sqaures, restaurants and the tower dominating the surroundings... It's hard not to fall in love with the place.
In the end, just to make a connection with the Parenzana trail, a long offroad descent, along a future road. The battery died just a few hundred meters from the climb back to Vižinada. Which I'm glad you won't see so I can brag about climbing in 10 min. ;)
Filmed in Septembre 2012.

Motovun - Istrien
