Hello world!
Welcome to another travel vlog! During my visit to the province of Chiriquí in the Republic of Panama. I was in the small of town Volcán, which is at the base of the Baru Volcano. The Baru Volcano is an active volcano (last time it erupted was around the mid 1500's) and is the tallest mountain in Panama at 11,398 feet (3,474 meters).
This was my first time in Chiriqui and the weather was great! I must say, I didn't feel like I was in Panama. It was in the mid 60's to low 70's (fahrenheit) the whole time I was there!
In this video we specifically went to Los Pozos or Los Pozos Termales, which is about 40 minutes away from the Volcán town. I had heard about these natural thermal wonders in the area so I made it our first stop. We were able to relax in the warm pool, but a few yards away was a really cold river where we actually spent most of the time.
Anyhow, I hope you like this video! Thanks for watching!

Boquete Panama Travel Guide | Top Things To See And Do | 90+ Countries With 3 Kids
Welcome to Boquete, a small, charming mountain town in Panama!
It is hidden on 1,200 meters above the sea level, in green mountain highlands, only 40 miles from the border between Panama and Costa Rica, on the Caldera River. Pleasant climate, scenic landscape, and natural environment make Boquete a popular tourist and retirement destination. Some people say it resembles a Swiss Alpine village, only located in South America.
As Panamians love to party, you can expect to enjoy monthly fiestas and music events whenever you come here.
We stayed at Los Molinos and had a fantastic time. We went on the most amazing hike down a trail that lead to a beautiful waterfall and experienced first hand the powerful flow of the river below.
We also met the most amazing people and were even invited to spend the night at one of their homes/farms.
Enjoy the video and make sure to comment below where you're watching from!
Stay tuned because the next video will be all about why people retire in Boquete Panama.

Amazing trip to Panama and Costa Rica - Panama and Costa Rica tourism & Vacations
Travel Videos HD, World Travel Guide
Panama is a country in Central America with coastlines on both the Caribbean Sea and the North Pacific Ocean, with Colombia (and South America) to the southeast and Costa Rica (and North America) to the northwest. It's strategically located on the isthmus that forms the land bridge connecting North and South America and controls the Panama Canal that links the North Atlantic Ocean via the Caribbean Sea with the North Pacific Ocean, one of the most important shipping routes in the world.
Costa Rica (Spanish: Costa Rica or República de Costa Rica, pronounced [reˈpuβlika ðe ˈkosta ˈrika]) is a small country in Central America bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the south, the Pacific Ocean to the west, and the Caribbean Sea to the east.

Top 5 Favorite Places in Panama
Panama is an amazing country rich with diversity, culture and history. The country contains the oldest European settled colony on the Pacific side of the Americas as well as an environment containing many plants and animals. These are my top five favorite places in the country. . . . so far.
Number one, the Panama Canal
The Panama Canal celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2014. The country also announced a plan that will double the size of the canal and allow for more ships to pass through each year. The Panama Canal is currently the only way to quickly pass through the middle of North and South America. The canal takes my top spot as it is an example of what human engineering can do. I highly recommend a visit to everyone that visits Panama.
Number two, La Cinta Costera
La Cinta Costera is a beautiful park that runs alongside the coast. It offers walking and biking trails. It starts at Punta Paitilla and ends in Casco Viejo.
Number 3, Isla Mamey
Located on the Atlantic side of Panama, about 2 hours drive away is the tiny deserted island of Isla Mamey. Isla Mamey is a popular destination for those looking to find paradise. The water is crystal clear and calm. The island has a small trail that wraps around. From Isla Mamey you will find excellent views of the ocean and also nearby islands. If you have time I highly recommend this tiny oasis.
Number 4, Gamboa Resort
Gamboa resort is located in the center of the country about 45 minutes away from Panama City. Gamboa resort is located in the heart of the rainforest and offer spectacular views and wildlife.
Number 5, Cerro Ancon
The best photo opps of Panama City, the canal, and Amador Causeway are located 654 feet above the city at Cerro Ancon. Just remember that there will be a lot of up hill walking.

Why Panama is So Welcoming to Retirees
Besides boasting great weather and an incredible variety of landscapes and places to live...friendly, warm people...cultural activities...and a very affordable cost of living...Panama is also one of the easiest countries on our beat for U.S. and Canadians to integrate into—making your move quick, easy, and hassle-free.
International Living's Panama Editor Jessica Ramesch explains more in this video.

Somewhere Near Volcan
Bit of a slow paced video from a really nice road that connects Porterillos to Volcan. It is so rare to find a road like this in Panama that isn't riddled with pot holes. The smooth road, the waterfalls, and cool temperatures made this a really nice ride. I did get rained on a little bit on the way home, but not enough to ruin my day. Wish I has spent more time filming the waterfalls, seemed like a very cool place. I'd like to go back someday and hike down to the pool at the bottom for a little swim.
