This drive begins with a tour of downtown Redding, California. I was driving around randomly, looking for anything that looked interesting, so don't be surprised if you see the same places two or three times. Eventually I left Redding, and headed west on California Route 299 for the very long, rainy drive to the Pacific Coast. This video gets as far as Weaverville.
