Woodville is a town in Tyler County, Texas, United States. The town is intersected by three U.S. highways: U.S. Highway 69, U.S. Highway 190, and U.S. Highway 287. The population was 2,586 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Tyler County. The town was named after George Tyler Wood, governor of Texas from 1847-1849.

The Kemah Boardwalk is a 60-acre Texas Gulf Coast theme park in Kemah, Texas, approximately 30 miles southeast of Downtown Houston, Texas. The Boardwalk is built entirely along the shores of Galveston Bay and Clear Lake, and is considered among the premier boardwalks in the United States. The complex is owned and operated by Landry’s, Inc., and is home to more than 10 restaurants, a collection of rides, midway games, attractions, a boutique hotel, a charter yacht, a 400-slip marina and multiple shops. There is no charge to walk around on the boardwalk. Tickets for rides can be purchased individually or all-day ride passes are available. Restaurants on the boardwalk include Landry’s Seafood, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Saltgrass Steak House, Cadillac Bar and many others.

Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center are private botanical gardens and a nature preserve located in the center of Orange, Texas. H. J. Lutcher Stark began work on Shangri La in 1942. His azalea gardens first opened to the public in 1946, but in the mid-1950s they were destroyed by very cold weather. The area was subsequently closed to the public and maintained on a very limited scale. It was then bequeathed by Nelda C. Stark to the Nelda C. and H. J. Lutcher Stark Foundation , which has been working to restore the botanical gardens and create a nature center. Shangri La contains a mixed deciduous forest, cypress tupelo swamp, wetlands, and a large lake. Many of its trees were heavily damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Rita in September 2005. Lake Tejas Colmesneil, Texas

Lake Tejas is a family camping and recreation lake that includes numerous campsites and pavilions along with 1 regular volleyball court and 1 water volleyball court, pool tables, assorted piers and docks, paddle boats, 3 diving boards on 2 diving platforms (including the high dive), 2 children's slides, concession area serving fried food on the weekends, as well as ice cream, microwave food items, chips and sodas on all days, hiking trails and of course the 100 ft WET WILLY slide. It's a great place for birthday parties, scout campouts, school lake days, vacations, family reunions, or just a day of swimming and fishing.

The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park

A historic hotel located just a few miles from Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, CO. It was built in Colonial Revival style by Freelan Oscar Stanley and opened on July 4 in 1909. In 1974, horror author Stephen King found here inspiration for his famous novel - The Shining. Today, The Stanley Hotel belongs to one of America's most haunted hotels.
