Zawoja [zaˈvɔja] is a village in Southern Poland located close to Maków Podhalański. It is situated in Sucha County . With neighbouring village of Skawica it constitutes a rural Zawoja Commune. It has 6,200 inhabitants and is often mentioned as one of the biggest Polish villages. It is also very often referred as the longest one as it stretches for about 20 kilometres in a picturesque mountain valley. 1. Babiogorski National Park Zawoja
Babia Góra National Park is one of the 23 national parks in Poland, located in the southern part of the country, in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, on the border with Slovakia. The Park has its headquarters in the village of Zawoja. The park covers an area of 33.92 square kilometres , of which forests occupy 31.98 km2 . The park includes the northern and part of the southern side of the Babia Góra massif, of which the main peak is the highest point of the Orava Beskids mountain range at 1,725 metres . There is a protected area Horná Orava Protected Landscape Area on the Slovak side of the massif. The area of Babia Góra was first brought under legal protection in 1933, when the Babia Góra Reserve was created. On October 30, 1954 it was designated a National Park. Since 1976 it has been list...

2. Trzy Korony Summit Sromowce Nizne
Trzy Korony is the summit of the Three Crowns Massif, an independent portion of a range called Pieniny Mountains in the south of Poland. Trzy Korony forms the central part of a compact group of connected mountains known as Pieniny Środkowe, consisting mainly of the limestone and dolomite rock strata. Trzy Korony is located within the Pieniny National Park in Lesser Poland Voivodeship.The summit is separated from the surrounding peaks by the Wyżni Łazek Pass, descending into deep valleys with streams surrounded by forested slopes. The Three Crowns consists of five sharp peaks, made of resistant limestone. The highest of the peaks is called Okrąglica. It stands 982 meters above sea level. Two great days in the mountains and the batteries are charged for the whole week.

FEW TIPS:
WHERE WE STAYED?

A good place with nice atmosphere for only 4 euros (12 PLN per night). Don't expect luxury here, but that’s not the point, right;)?

WHAT WE SAW:
FIRST DAY: we climbed Barania Góra and did some trekking in the surroundings
SECOND DAY we've started with a walk in Wisła city and then we did some trekking from Biały Kamień to Miedziana Skała nearby.

PLACES TO EAT:
When you come back from Barania góra on your way to Chatka na Pietraszonce there is a mountain shelter Przysłop. You should try their Polish dishes from great soups to fresh home made dished. Also there is a variety of beers and my beloved gluhewein available :)

Coffe place in Wisła:
Delicious cakes and excellent coffee - highly recommended.

Decend lunch/dinner near Wisła:
Great example of good polish food, nice atmosphere and service.

For sure there is much more to see in Silesian Beskid. I’ll go back there to see more if its beautiful landscapes and give you more hints on where to go for your weekend trip!

In Maly Rynek Square in Cracow, next to the main square, many events take place.
During our stay there was the festival of Pierogi.
The pierogi, a kind of ravioli, crescent-shaped, are one of the most traditional dishes of the city.
Stalls grouped together in the square, you can find all kinds of pierogi, size, taste and color ....
The filling may be cheese, meat and sauerkraut, vegetables, but the variations seem to be endless.
Gladdens the party a singer that sings even in Italian.

In piazza Maly Rynek a Cracovia, a lato della piazza principale, si svolgono molte manifestazioni.
Durante la nostra permanenza c’era il festival dei Pierogi.
I pierogi, una specie di ravioli, a forma di mezzaluna, sono uno dei piatti più tradizionali della città.
Nelle bancarelle raggruppate nella piazzetta, si possono trovare pierogi di ogni tipo, dimensione, gusto e… colore.
Il ripieno può essere formaggio, carne e crauti, verdure, ma le varianti sembrano essere infinite.
Allieta la festa un cantante che canta addirittura in italiano.

Energylandia - Strefa ekstremalna (Zator), Polska

Energylandia to pierwszy w Polsce Rodzinny Park Rozrywki z prawdziwego zdarzenia. Oferta rozrywki jest bardzo bogata i każdy z osobna lub wszyscy razem mogą znaleźć stosowne atrakcje dla siebie. Do dyspozycji jest Strefa dziecięca i Strefa familijna. Jest gastronomia, sklepy i różnego rodzaju widowiska oraz kino 7D. Najwięcej emocji budzi jednak Strefa ekstremalna, gdzie do dyspozycji żądnych mocnych wrażeń jest aktualnie 5 piekielnych machin. W odwodzie stoi już Aztec Swing, ale jeszcze nie uruchomiony. W następnym roku dojdą dodatkowo trzy gigantyczne rollercoastery (Egipt, Formuła 1, Mexico) - oj będzie się działo!

Last December (2014) I decided to visit Zakopane, Poland for an awesome winter break, overall impression was good. Accommodation was cheap, food was even cheaper and there were plenty of things to see and do. Also thanks to GoPro for helping to capture these amazing moments
