Natural wonders - Zyuratkul (Зюраткуль) National Park
Zyuratkul National Park is a Russian national park established in 1993 in the southern part of Satkinsky Raion (Chelyabinsk Oblast, Urals). The park lies about 30 km south of Satka and 200 km west of Chelyabinsk. Notable features include Zyuratkul' Lake, a rare mountainous body of water for the Urals 754 m above sea level, and a number of mountain ranges, among them Zyuratkul' range (8 km in length, rising 1175 m in its highest point). Another range, Nurgush, is the highest point of Chelyabinsk Oblast with a height of 1406 m.

Парк Сугомак с высоты | Sugomak Nature Park (Russia, The Ural Mountains)
Сугома́к — гора, расположенная вблизи города Кыштым Челябинской области в 90 км от Челябинска, в 150 км от Екатеринбурга.
Гора Сугомак — это одна из трёх составляющих территориально-природного комплекса Сугомак — трёх памятников природы: горы Сугомак, озера Сугомак и пещеры Сугомак. Гора Сугомак скалистая на вершине, до вершины покрыта смешанными лесами и многими редко встречающимися растениями. У подножья горы находится озеро, пещера Сугомак, протяженностью более 150 м, состоящая из трех гротов, родник Марьины слёзы и небольшая гора с отлогими скалистыми сторонами у самого берега озера Сугомак — Голая Сопка (50 м).

Ильменский заповедник с высоты | Ilmen Nature Reserve (Russia, The Ural Mountains)
Ильме́нский государственный запове́дник имени В. И. Ленина — государственный заповедник, структурно входит в состав Южно-Уральского научного центра Уральского отделения РАН.
Находится в центральной части Челябинской области около города Миасс. 14 мая 1920 года по декрету В. И. Ленина Ильменские горы были объявлены минералогическим заповедником, одним из первых заповедников, созданных в России, сейчас он по своей площади занимает 34-е место среди заповедников страны. Целью деятельности заповедника является сохранение в естественном состоянии природного комплекса, выполнение фундаментальных научных исследований геолого-минералогического, эколого-биологического профиля.
Заповедник в цифрах
Площадь заповедника — 303,8 км²
Длина Ильменского хребта с севера на юг — 41 км.
Самая высокая точка — гора Ильментау, высота 747,3 метров.
Гидрологическая сеть Заповедника составляет 9 % от территории.
В заповеднике 30 озёр.
Самое глубокое озеро — Большой Кисегач, глубиной 34 метра.
Самая длинная речка — Большая Черемшанка — 9,8 километра.

Леса занимают 85 % площади заповедника. Около 55 % лесов образует сосна обыкновенная, 40 % - береза повислая.

В заповеднике 138 видов мхов, 173 вида грибов, 479 видов водорослей.
Животный мир
Млекопитающих — 57 видов
Птиц — 173 вида, из которых 125 видов гнездятся на территории заповедника
Амфибий — 5 видов
Рептилий — 6 видов
Рыб — 18 видов

Lake Baikal is a rift lake in the south of the Russian region of Siberia, between the Irkutsk Oblast to the northwest and the Buryat Republic to the southeast.
Lake Baikal is the largest (by volume) freshwater lake in the world, containing roughly 20% of the world's unfrozen surface fresh water, and at 1,642 m, the deepest. It is also among the clearest of all lakes, and thought to be the world's oldest lake at 25 million years. It is the seventh-largest lake in the world by surface area. With 23,615.39 cubic kilometres of fresh water, it contains more water than that of all the Great Lakes combined.
