The Ada Tree Filmed on a Mavic Pro Drone - The Oldest Tree in Victoria (Warburton, Noojee)
The Ada Tree is deemed the oldest tree in Victoria and located between Warburton & Noojee. Worth checking out and a great little walk in (3km round trip from the car park). Most of this video was filmed with a drone so gives great perspective of the height of the tree and details compared to it's surrounding environment.

Ada Tree Walk - Bushwalking Victoria
WALK: 3.2km | GRADE: Easy | ENVIRONMENT: Sub-temperate Rainforest
Stroll through ancient Myrtle Beech and Sassafras rainforest en route to the Ada Tree, a goliath Mountain Ash that is Victoria’s tallest known tree. Estimated at close to 400-years old, 75-metres tall and with a circumference of 15-metres it’s enormity is best appreciated in the flesh. This leisurely stroll is only 3.2km and will barely work up a sweat as you pass through some remarkable patches of old growth forest.

The first map in the slideshow shows both locations, the second map the location of the Lake Mountain pictures and the third map the location of the Ada Tree pictures (last five pictures). The tree is at least 300 years old.

Ada tree
The Ada Tree One of the biggest trees in Australia and is over 400 years old. It is a giant mountain ash growing near the Little Ada River in the forest between Powelltown and Noojee in the Yarra State Forest.
The tree is over 70 metres tall, has a circumference of about 15 metres at about 1.5 metres from ground level and an estimated weight of 1130 tonnes. Some of the branches are as big as the trunk of a 20 metre high tree.
The Ada Tree is like a massive block of flats for wildlife that provides habitat for many forest creatures.
The Ada Tree may have topped 120 metres before it lost its head in a storm
The area was originally used for logging, but the Ada Tree was saved because of its massive size. It is now protected in a 600 hectare reserve.

Toorongo Waterfalls / Amphitheatre Falls Visual Tour (Noojee, Victoria, Australia)
We were pleasantly surprised by this reserve, exceeding our expectations and the falls were bigger than what they looked like in any picture/video we watched when researching.
Toorongo Falls Reserve has two main Waterfalls, Toorongo Falls & Amphitheatre Falls and is located approx. 100KM’s (60 Miles) from Melbourne close to the small town of Noojee in West Gippsland.
There is a 2.2km loop walk that takes you up to the Toorongo Falls and Amphitheatre Falls.
2 great camping spots which were very busy when we visited.

ADA Tree full version
My family doing the ADA Walk in the Yarra State Forest with Jeff Tan. The Ada Tree, a giant Mountain Ash, is one of Victoria's largest living trees. It is estimated to be over 300 years old and at 75M - used to be 90M tall before it was snapped during a storm - towers over the surrounding rainforest in the headwaters of the Little Ada River. Worth every leech. (Yes, there are leeches during rainy days!)
