Nepal is surrounded with many Himalayan regions, plenty of hills and mountains, and the Terai (plain) region, better known as a country with many temples. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. Located in Kathmandu also is the holy Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest and pious temples of all Hindus, not only in Nepal, but also throughout the world.
Lord Pashupatinath is the supreme God of the Hindus. Paying Homage to the Jyotir Lingam also means a great boon and a successful life to mankind. While paying homage to Lord Pashupatinath, one has to pay homage first of all to the shrines of gods and goddesses outside the Pashupatinath Temple, or one can directly enter through the south gate of the Pashupatinath Temple and pay homage to 64 Lingams, Kirtimukhi Bhairav, Unmatta Bhairav, Astamatrika, Nava Graha, Hanuman and advance towards the west side of the Temple by paying homage to Nandi, Trishul, Jaleshwor, Doleshwor, Basuki Naag,, Gupteshwor, Lal Ganesh, Surya, Jalasahi Vishnu, again paying homage to Aryaghat and resting for a while at Muktimandap. Then, one proceeds by paying homage to Santaneshwor, Shree Krishna, and by touching the Dharmashila, one has to enter the main temple from the south side. One should not encircle Lord Shiva, instead one must make a half-circle, the reason being that one should not cross the holy water offered to Lord Shiva. By entering through the south gate, one has to pay homage to Ishan Mukh (face) and then the Purva Mukh (Eastern Face), one has to return then to the Dakshin Mukh (South Face), and in the same process, one has to pay homage to the Uttar Mukh (North face) and lastly the Pachhim Mukh (West Face). While doing this, the holy water offered to Lord Shiva cannot be crossed over. By coming out of the temple, the entire homage is completed.

The HIGHEST POINT in Tanahu - Chimkeswari and Hilekharka, Hiking in Nepal
Well, this might be our most delayed video ever. Back in November of 2018, we visited the holy Chimkeshwari Temple and accidentally discovered a beautiful Gurung village, Hilekharka on our way to Bandipur.
Due to a few technical issues, we had been pushing the publish date of this video but finally its here. Both the sunrise and sunset from Chimkeswari is epic. Though short, this trip offers scenic views of the mountains and close glance of the traditional Gurung culture and people.
Special Thanks to Trishna Gurung for giving us the permission to use the cover of her song, Khani ho Yahmu, Dhan Gurung Maila Dai and friends for the Gurung Language Translation, Simma and her team for the beautiful cover, Devilal Baje and Batu Aama for the wonderful hospitality.
Please contact them if you plan to visit Chhimkeswari and Hilekharka

Tarke Ghyang Bike Ride || Helambu Travel Diaries Part I || Adventurous || Unexplored || Spring of 39
As a moto vlogger, I recently had an opportunity to travel to Tarke Ghyang, Helambu, the last village of Sindhupalchowk district, Nepal. It is about 70 km from Kathmandu valley. The road from Melamchi to Tarke Ghyang is off-road, adventurous, and thrilling. The scenic view that you encounter might let you forget the difficulty you face during your travel. Mansoon season might not be the best season to travel as the road might be slippery. The 500-year-old Ghyang (Buddhist temple) is the main attraction. It is a beautiful village, rich in Buddhist culture. I found it amazing and beautiful and would regret if I was not able to make it that day. This video is a bit long but worth watching and tried my best to make it a good one. Lets visit Helambu and promote internal tourism. Vist Nepal 2020. Thank you in advance. Spring of 39

Kathmandu Nepal - Travel VLOG
Kathmandu is a cool place in Nepal, South Asia. it's an old style south Asian city, the infrastructure is not very good but still, you can find many places to hang out and enjoy your day. be very careful while dealing with shopkeepers, taxi drivers and people who sell anything on the streets of Kathmandu, when they see you are a foreigner, they'll tell 10 times higher prices for the thing, you should know the actual price in advance in order to deal with this.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

Tal Barahi Temple, a 2-story pagoda, sits on an island in the lake. In the city’s south, the International Mountain Museum has exhibits on the history of mountaineering and the people of the Himalayas.
This city of lakes and mountains offers an opportunity to see the magnificence of Annapurna area without being in high altitude. Everest Base Camp Trek: The Logistics
Hiking gear
Since Jeff and I were traveling and spent a month in Bali before our Everest basecamp trek, we were wildly unprepared for the trek. We did have base layers and some long sleeves, but not much else! However, it is good to know that you can find everything you need in Katmandu, Lukla or even higher, up to Namche Bazaar at 3,400m - however, it does get a little more expensive as you go up, of course.
We strongly recommend to rent sleeping bags and down jackets - we rented both of those for about $2.50 per day per person at the Kala Pattar shop in Thamel, Katmandu. We also bought the rest of our hiking gear, including hiking backpacks, hiking boots, gloves, hats, neck warmers, fleece-doubled hiking pants and warm socks at the same shop - the more you buy, the more you can haggle!
Aside from finding a good backpack to carry everything on your back, it is an absolute must that you also have an easy access bag, like a bumbag, for all those things you’ll be needing easy access to like your phone, chapstick, tissues, money, permits, snacks, camera, etc. We highlight recommend Eastpak products, and neither of us travel anywhere without their bumbags around our necks.
Altitude
It is important to inform yourself and your group members about the effects of altitude and AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). Early symptoms from 2,500m can include a strong headache, and you need to stop climbing. Start descending immediately if you experience dizziness, shortness of breath while resting, nausea or exhaustion in addition to the headache. AMS can lead to HAPE (high altitude pulmonary oedema) or HACE (high altitude cerebral oedema), which are both life threatening, but usually only occur at very high altitude. Make sure to be aware and to follow the recommendations to avoid AMS, and don’t climb more than 500 meters a day above 3,000 meters. If you are feeling unwell, you can inform the lodge owners, they are very helpful and most can organize a helicopter rescue if needed.
Diamox should not be taken by pregnant women or anyone with liver or kidney issues.
Everest Base Camp Trek: The Full Itinerary
Day 1 - Katmandu (4,593ft / 1,400m) - Lukla (9,334ft / 2,845m) to Phakding (8,563ft / 2,610m) to Monjo (9,301ft / 2,835m)
Trekking time: 3 hours from Lukla to Phakding + 3 hours from Phakding to Monjo. Total 6 hours
The trek to Everest base camp starts with a relatively nerve wracking flight, in the smallest plane we’ve ever taken - only 7 seats, and one flight attendant! You will be offered mints and cotton for your ears as the plane takes off from Katmandu and zigzags in between mountains to approach Tenzing–Hillary Airport in Lukla.
Tip: Make sure to seat on the plane’s left side for the best views of the Himalayas!
You will see Lukla’s famous short landing strip with its 11.7% gradient appear in front of you. While it can make you nervous, embrace the feeling of landing on the 500m strip, it will definitely be a good story to tell!
Once you get out of the plane, you will find yourself in the second smallest airport in the world. From there, grab your bag, and let’s head on the trek!
You should normally arrive early morning, before 8.30am, so you can be in Phakding for lunch.
Start walking on the path and enjoy the first 2 hours going downhill - how easy, you will think. Beware, as you will have to go up during the last 2 hours of the trek!
Stop in Phakding for lunch halfway, and continue another 3 hours of uphill hiking to Monjo, through beautiful sceneries with prayer wheels and suspended bridges where you can spend your first night.
