SUBSCRIBE: - After a very intense and exhausting trip to Kathmandu (Nepal), everything started getting to me and I decided to record my complaining. Of course I loved Nepal but if you travels as much as I do and as often as I do, it is bound that sooner or later things and situations around you will affect you and the complaining will start. Naturally, when you get back home, all is nice and beautiful after 2 days of rest.
Nepal is a nation between India and Tibet known for its temples and Himalayan mountains, which include Mt. Everest. Kathmandu, the capital, has a mazelike old quarter filled with Hindu and Buddhist shrines. Around Kathmandu Valley are Swayambhunath, a Buddhist temple with resident monkeys; Boudhanath, a massive Buddhist stupa; Hindu temples and cremation grounds at Pashupatinath; and the medieval city of Bhaktapur.

Nepal OCIP 2012
From 27 November - 7 December 2012, I left Singapore on a Kathmandu-bound plane in a group of 25 Victoria Junior College students and 3 teachers for an OCIP trip. There, we went to a small village near the Sino-Nepalese border called Gatlang. We played with the kids, taught them basic english, painted the library and build shelves to store books we brought from Singapore. We visited the Umbrella Foundation children homes in Kathmandu as well where former street children were given education, a home and a family.
Filmed and edited by myself. Some footage were shot by Yuda Agung Winata.

I made short stopovers in Tansen and Pokhara for some minor repairs to the Royal Enfield motorcycle and in order to obtain permits to travel into the Annapurna Conservation Area (required for travel to Mustang, Nepal). And then it was time to go again. It had been raining so I expected things to be a bit messy once we got to the famous off-road sections of the route to Mustang and sure enough I encountered a complete slush fest. Progress was slower than expected, but the adventure level was high. No ride to Mustang is meant to be easy and this definitely was adhering to that rule. This was just the beginning of my journey to Mustang, but it was already becoming clear that this was bound to be a memorable part of the ride.
