Hamburg's preparation for the upcoming season has seen them take long trip to China for a week of training and pre-season matches. The club battled the heat and humidity in order to push themselves to the limit. Not only did they face club sides Guangzhou Evergrande and Guangzhou R&F, but also had a trip to savour thanks to the Chinese people.

First destination for Team West: Hamburg
Yvonne and Panos leave Berlin and take the bus to Hamburg where their second host Philip lives. Student Philip is a friend of Jeniffer in Berlin, the very first friend of the circle of friendship. In Hamburg Philip takes the two travelers to the seashore to Germany's largest seaport and to the Dom where the travelers fulfill a first task of their challenge list.
What is Yuujou?
Yuujou is a 100-day travel adventure from Berlin to Tokyo! Through this crazy journey, Yuujou aims to inspire far more face-to-face moments and real connections. With a multicultural and interdisciplinary media-art project, we are trying to create a circle of friendship around the world.
In spring 2019, two teams of three creative people will travel from one friend to another. Their next stop must always be at the place of a friend of the previous friend who hosted them. The travelers do not know and and cannot control where this journey will lead them. The route unfolds along the trip.

Titanic II Model Test - Hamburg, Germany - September 2013
Our team lead by Deltamarin in Finland have been very busy over the past few month working to finalise plans for the ship to begin construction. Working with German hydrodynamic service and consulting company Hamburg Ship Model Basin (HSVA) we have conducted the first model testing of the proposed Titanic II.
The 9.3m wooden model of Titanic II has be put through resistance and powering tests in a 300m long tank at HSVA's Hamburg facilities in mid-September. The model testing by HSVA is an important stage in the Titanic II project, with the model being tested at speeds of between 18 and 24 knots. This testing is crucial for assessing the speed and power performance of this prototype vessel design. We are extremely excited about finalising this testing and means we can move on with finalising our construction contract.
Baljeet Singh, our World Project Director spent time with Deltamarin and HSVA for the testing in Germany and said that it was an amazing experience to see the project progressing in-line with our expected deadlines. Our team have worked very hard to get to this milestone for the Titanic II project and we were the 5000th model test for HSVA and it was great to be a part of such a milestone for their company too.

Berlin Adventure February 2019 Video Update
February was a full but fun month. Pete met with the Redeemer/New Ground leaders in Brussels, and Sarah attended a Music conference in Amsterdam. We enjoyed having Henk Kersten visiting us as a team for friendship and input. Some of the team just enjoyed a fun weekend away skiing and hanging out together. This coming weekend we'll be attending the New Ground leaders weekend away in Liverpool and seeing family and friends in East Grinstead. On Sunday 3rd March we'll be sharing a Berlin Adventure update at Jubilee Community Church.
Thank you for taking the time to watch our monthly video update and read our prayer newsletter. We really value your support. It's a special time for us as a church plant as we enter 2019 building more team, seeking God in prayer for vision and a name for the church. We are having such a fun time studying the book of Acts together, learning from the early church as courageous Spirit-filled disciples fearlessly proclaim and demonstrate the risen Jesus. The apostle Peter has been a particular source of encouragement to us through Acts 3 and 4. Whether it's healing a crippled man who was lame from birth, or then preaching Jesus to the Jewish crowd who had gathered to observe and challenge the miracle. Peter's boldness in Jesus resurrection and life in the Spirit is inspiring.
