Day 1| BEST TREK Around KATHMANDU | Awesome Day of EPIC ft Wanderlust Himalaya Adventures
Trekking in Nepal. I wanted to squeeze in a short trek around Kathmandu. I did the Kopasi- Balthali- Namobuddha-Dhulikhel trek with Wanderlust Himalaya Adventures. It’s one of the best hikes near Kathmandu and it was such an awesome trekking day in Nepal. It is a popular two day trek around Kathmandu Valley. Our start is located 2 hours east of downtown Kathmandu. Our first day's goal ends in Dhulikhel.
I did a shout out to my good friend Nabaraj, who runs his own trekking and tour company. He gave me a customized tour so I could film the valley and village life- I love filming human stories. I wanted epic scenery but also wanted to see village culture and lifestyles. But this trek surpassed my wildest expectations and you’ll see why.
Trivia: initially Nabaraj sold me my very first trekking tour a decade ago when he was just 19 years old and worked for another company. I’m honored to be taking one of his Kathmandu trekking tours! My first trek was Bhaktapur to Nagarkot, which is another top trek around Kathmandu as well.

KATHMANDU TO MUSTANG TRAVEL VLOG || ADVENTURE NEPAL ||
'' Fill your life with Adventures , not things ,have stories to tell not stuff to show ''.
Welcome to Nepal! Nepal is a beautiful landlocked country. Though it is small, the country has variations in landscapes from high, rocky Himalayan terrain, to green lustrous hills and flat, fertile Terai plains. The rich culture, scenic beauty, and heartwarming hospitality make Nepal a must-visit country. There are many ways one can opt to explore Nepal. However, to explore the Himalayan region, the best option is trekking. The Himalayan country of Nepal lies in Southern Asia. To the north is the autonomous region of Tibet, in the People’s Republic of China, and to the south is India. Roughly the shape of a rectangle, Nepal has a length of 885 km and a width ranging from 145 km to 241 km. Nepal also contains the largest mountain range on earth, the Himalayan Mountains. This creates an elevation profile that is one of the most extreme in the world. It ranges from a mere 70 meters above sea level to the highest point on earth, Mt. Everest at 8,848 meters. Because of this huge disparity in elevation all within a distance of 150 km, Nepal contains enormous climatic variations from sub-tropical to alpine. It is popularly known in the world for its incredible diversity of ecosystems. The high peaks of the Himalayas in the north quickly drops down to thick tropical jungles teeming with wildlife in the south on the way to the Ganges floodplain. Between the two extremes are glittering glaciers, thundering rivers, forested hills and terraced slopes. Besides an incredibly rich and diverse ecology, Nepal also has amazing cultural traditions. You can wonder at the exquisite craftsmanship and artistic ingenuity of the people then and now as you view the temples and historical palaces full of architectural value. Part of the religious and cultural fabric of Nepal is their numerous national and religious festivals. These festivals and ceremonies have been celebrated since time and can be seen at all times of the year. Nepal is also famously known for the warm hospitality given to every guest. For all who come to this mysterious realm awaiting you is an atmosphere of welcome and warmth. Nepal is a breathtaking and enchanting land of myths and legends to come, see, and experience.

Kathmandu has often been by some as a flawless jewel in a unique setting. Nepal other place in the world has the concentration of culture, art and tradition that exists in the Kathmandu valley (1300m.). Kathmandu is the crossroads for the many ethnic groups of Nepal and for visitors from all over the world every year. Nestled in the central hills of Nepal, Kathmandu is at once medieval and modern. The Kathmandu valley sprawls at the junction of two sacred rivers, Bagmati and Bishnumati. Just cross the Bagmati River to the south is Patan, on ancient city of temples, while Bhadgoon with its thousands of homes and temples shrines lies six miles to the east. More then two hundred years ago these three cities housed the Royal places of three different kingdoms that divided the valley palaces surviving today in Nepal.
They say there are more temples than houses in Kathmandu valley in past. Great temples with heavily carved exteriors, massive white-domed Buddhist stupas and hundreds of smaller Buddhist chaityas small temples with low, ornate archways-and tiny temples containing once lone idol all are an integral pieces of the unique mosaic that is Kathmandu city of Nepal. To really discover the Kathmandu valley you need to begin exploring from well beyond the city limits, and travel in from the outside of Nepal in order to touch its roots. Fortunately there are many very beautiful walks within the Kathmandu valley that combine cultural experience and natural heritage.
Nepal, Kathmandu city is the capital city of Kingdom of Nepal. In Kathmandu you can visit Machendra Nath Temple, Pasupati Nath temple Akash Bhairabv temple, Katmandu Durbar Square, Kumari Temple, Kasthmandap, Ashok Vinayak, Jaishi Dewal, Tundikhel, Martyr's memorial. Bhadrakali temple, Singh Durbar, Narayanhiti Durbar, Kaiser Library, Budhanil kanth. Balaju Water Garden, Sowyambhunath temple, The National Museum, Natural History Museum, Guheswary Temple, Chabhil, Chandra vinayak and Buddha nath temple.
