Afitos in Halkidiki Greece
Afitos or Athitos is a traditional village in Kassandra Halkidiki which is located 83 km away from Thessaloniki. It has an amazing view of Toroneos gulf as the village is built on a hill above the coast.

Afytos Greece -Pearl of Chalkidiki
Afytos (Greek, Modern: Άφυτος) is a village in Chalkidiki, northern Greece. It is part of the municipality Kassandra.
It is situated on the northeastern coast of the Kassandra peninsula, 6 km northeast of Kassandreia, 31 km south of Polygyros and 73 km southeast of Thessaloniki.
The area around Afytos consists of farmlands in low hills.
Its economy is based on agriculture and tourism. Its folklore museum was founded in 1980 by the folklore councillor Nikos Paralis.
The museum is located in the building of the Alevras family. Councils and clubs include the Folklore Friendship Council and Afytos Tradition.

Afitos je mestasce na poluostrvu Kasandra (prvom prstu) na Halkidikiju. Nalazi se u blizini gradica Kalitea u Toronskom zalivu. Ako letujete u Polihronu, Haniotiju ili Pefkohoriju a zelite da obidjete okolinu, onda je Afitos idealano mesto da provedete nekoliko sati ili jedan dan. Ukoliko niste dosli svojim kolima, lokalnim autobusom se od Pefkohorija do Afitosa stize za otprilike 45 minuta i autobus straje na dosta usputnih stajalista duz Toroneos zaliva.

This was my favorite little town in Greece. It is a neighboring village to Kallithea. I don't know that I could spend a whole week there because it was such a small town though, but it was absolutely charming!!! It kinda reminded me a bit of Italy. It's a must see if you are in that area!
