Welcome! What you are looking at is a former Universal Studios, Halloween Horror Night, Walt Disney World actor/worker youtuber here. I really want to show the world to you! I was pretty inspired by Adamthewoo to get out and start making videos, and now I've left America to do just that. Now I'm out in Osaka, Japan. Living daily life in Japan. But I make adventure videos of exploring strange Japanese locations, theme parks like Universal Studios Japan, and generally showing off life as an American Abroad Jvlogging in Japan. As well I like to make Jvlogs about life in Japan. As I am a former scareactor at Halloween Horror Nights in Florida, I am very interested in the strange side of Japanese culture. Ghosts, Yokai, the Japanese equivlent of Oujia boards, abandoned Japanese buildings, and Japanese haunted houses like the one at Fuji Q Highland it's the longest one in the world!
Why the name Yukendoit? Well I think that you can do it! I'm currently teaching English in Japan and I love it. Patreon patreon.com/yukendoit
Akiko Ochi - E.A.T. 2 Performance Excerpt
Title: Dannoura
An electroacoustic musical work based on Biwa Hoshi's narration of the story of the battle of Dannoura, which was the last clash between Genji and Heike and the climax of the ancient Japanese war narrative Heike Monogatari. Based on this setting, I will perform an improvisation using various sensors etc. built in or connected to a laptop computer.

Roving Ronin Report Presents Japanese Biwa Player
Japanese Biwa Player playing Dan-no-ura a song about the last battle between the Heike and Genji clans at a festival for the Heike clan:
Dan-no-ura was the site of the last battle of the Gempei War in which the Heike clan was finally destroyed by the Genji clan.
Centuries later, legends say a blind biwa player was tricked into playing for the restless spirits of the Heike. He barely escaped with his life paying the price of his ears being ripped off. This story is known as Hoichi the Earless and appears in the Kwaiden.
Around the 4 minute mark, she starts shredding some wicked licks like a geisha Jimi Hendricks! I half-expected her to set her biwa on fire at the end. The accompanying thunderclaps were more than appropiate.
Towards the end a thunderstorm struck suddenly and ominously. She was playing the song in Yunishigawa in Tochigi where Heike refugees fled to in hiding. The thunderstorm gave the performance an eery supernatural feeling. It stopped not long after she finished.
The title music is by the exotic ones:

The Heian Fuuunden (平安風雲伝) - Introduction (SNES/SFC)
Original Air Date: August 1st, 2009
What to say about this game...? It's made in 1995 and published by KSS, the same group that published games like Mujin Shima Monogatari and Bing Bing! Bingo. Uhh...darn, it's hard to say things when you upload the weirdest stuff...well, it is said that the game is developed by Natsume, but I'm not too sure if that makes me feel good in the case of this game.
The game takes place during the Heian period, meaning that the game takes place anywhere from the year 794 to 1185. The game starts with a rebellion that is on the rise and a man named Kamohiro is passing the message along to local villages. After some talking, Kamohiro decides that it is best to talk to someone more powerful than himself to help deal with the rebellion, so he talks to a man named Seimei Yasube. Apparently, the rebellion will destroy Kyoto if it isn't dealt with. After Kamohiro's conversation with Yasube is over, the game introduces the main character.
You control a youth named Kagura, who is practicing the way of the sword. His master tells him that he has become quite skilled in the art of counter-attacking and that a strong defense is critical to defeat his opponents. Kagura's master's words are interrupted by a young man named Touta, who tells Kagura that a village elder named Tenkai is looking for him. You go into the house on the far top-right of the screen and speak to Tenkai and he tells you to travel to find Yasube.
Basically, the game deals with the dead and dark spirits and you are in charge of trying to bring order back to the land.
I've uploaded a game sample too.

第46回阿含(あごん)の星まつりに行ってきました。
Sumiyoshi Taisha, Osaka 2017
I got wind of a festival happening at one of Japan's oldest shrines. I ventured out to see what was going on. It turned out to be a ritual involving a sacred horse - an opportunity to rid your evil spirits at the beginning of the year. Unfortunately, I missed the horse but hopefully there's a lot more interesting things to see. Hope you enjoy.
