Spiffy Places to See in Japan: Aizu Fukushima Part 1
My Trip In March to Aizu of Fukushima Prefecture.
Myself and Coworker Joel decided to road trip it north for a weekend of Onsen and Sightseeing. In this video we visit the Okawa Onsen Resort, Ouchijuku (old trading post town) and Aizu Castle.
To get to Aizu the best way is to rent a car but you need a international or Japanese license to do it. Car rentals are cheap, usually ranging from 70-100$ a day including gas and Freeway tolls. We personally like to use NicoNico Rent a car.
Fukishima is in dire need of tourism money since the 2011 earthquake so I encourage everyone to go, we had a great time, helped support the local community and enjoyed the sights and nature of the area. We at no time felt unsafe and didnt sweat the radiation issue. We didnt want that to stop us from having a good time and doing what we can to help stimulate the local economy.
Have any questions or comments feel free to leave them on the video or messege me!
Traveling in Japan with a baby - Our stay in Aizu-Tajima(会津田島)
Last week during the Golden Week holidays (first week of May) we went on a trip to the countryside north of Tokyo with our baby. It was beautiful! This is Video #3 of a three part series of our trip, with some handy tips for those with a baby. Video #1 - catching the Tobu express train to Kinugawa Onsen, 2 hours north of Tokyo. The train departs from Asakusa Station. Video #2 - catching the local train further north to Aizu-Tajima. This is a VERY cute local train with stunning views of the mountains, rivers, and little Japanese villages. Video #3 - Scenery of our final destination Aizu-Tajima including baby's first time to sleep in a Japanese futon. Definitely recommend trying a similar trip with your baby to get out of Tokyo and enjoy Japan's stunning countryside, cuisine, onsens and more. Brought to you by Tokyo Urban Baby tokyourbanbaby.com

原付スペンサー ~Drive Japan~ Nikko National Park to Western Fukushima, Japan
This is from the second day of my scooter trip from Saitama to Hokkaido. This leg started in a campground in Nikko National Park. It was raining, and consequently the beginning of the drive is illegible, as the camera got soaked and the brackets that attached it to the scooter came loose.
After I got that fixed, it looks pretty good for most of the beautiful drive through Tochigi Prefecture and Western Fukushima. I ended the drive at a lake just east of Aizu-wakamatsu, but again I didn't have space to record the very end of the drive.
