Honestly, it was quite a shock going from bustling Tokyo to super relaxed and empty Jeju Island... I was instantly missing the hustle bustle of the city life and all the people! I think the only reason I'd go back to Jeju would be to do a beach crawl, considering how nice Hamdeok Beach was~

On this day we went to:
- Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum
- Teddy Bear Museum
- Play KPOP (although it was closed)
- Yellow Cafe
- Yeomiji Botanical Garden
and many other extra stops nearby haha
We also went to Jeju City as a conclusion for the day to find some Black Pork, one of Jeju's well-known food!

Jeju or Jeju-do is an island located in the South of the peninsula of Korea. Jeju Island is the largest island in South Korea and one other special province. In 2007, it was named as one of the UNESCO World Heritage lists. Jeju Island South Korea, this is info about Jeju Island tourist attractions, a tourist destination in Jeju Island with Jeju Island tourism and best places to visit in Jeju Island.
1. Manjanggul Cave
Manjanggul is located in lava tube area Gimnyeong-ri, Gujwaeup. Lava tube itself is one of the types of caves that are formed due to the deposits of volcanic lava flows. With a width of 5 meters and a length of 13 kilometers, Manjanggul became one of the world's longest lava tubes. These caves are formed due to lava flows from a volcanic eruption that occurred around 200,000 years ago.
2. Cheonjiyeon Waterfall
Cheonjiyeon waterfall is one of the most beautiful that exists on the island of Jeju. Because of its beauty 22 m-high waterfall is named after the Cheonjiyeon means ' land of paradise '. Cheonjiyeon is attractions most visited by the tourists in the evening, as soon as the evening around a waterfall turned on the lights that make a colorful atmosphere around becoming romantic. Many couples who came to take pictures in there at night.
3. Hallasan Mountains
Hallasan which means Mount Halla is the highest mountain in South Korea. The volcano with an altitude of 1,950 meters is part of Hallasan Gungnip Gongwon conservation area or Hallasan National Park. In this mountain, there is the oldest Buddhist temple in Jeju, namely Gwaneumsa constructed during the Goryeo dynasty. While at the top there is a crater lake known as Baengnokdam, meaning ' white stag-inhabited pond '. The area of Mount Halla has unique natural conditions, as is divided into several different climates
4. Jeju Folk Village Museum
Jeju Folk Village Museum is deliberately artificial village was established on an area of 40 acres by mimicking the concept of rural in 1890 's. The main attractions offered by this open-air museum is a replica of the ancient culture of Korea. There are 117 cottages, houses, and public facilities ala era can be found here.
5. Teddy Bear Museum
If you've ever watched the drama Princess Hours Goong or Korea, you definitely remember the teddy bear of the ruined museum visited by Chaegyeong and Prince Shin in the drama. The venue is the teddy bear museum, one of the few museums that display a collection of a stuffed teddy bear in the world. Teddy bear Museum is also one of the few museums with a unique concept which exists on the island of Jeju.
6. Haenyeo Museum
Who would have thought, that meant a dip in South Korea are women. The story of the great South Korea divers in can you find in the Haenyeo Museum. Inside the museum, you can see a replica of the House the women divers. The House is usually divided into three parts namely bedroom, dining room, and kitchen. You can also see the clothes as well as weapons and tools used for hunting in the sea.
7. Yeomiji Botanical Garden
The last interesting sights worth a visit in Jeju is Yeomiji Botanical Garden or Botanic Garden Yeomji. The Park is located in the tourist complex of Jungmun, is Asia's largest botanical garden which houses a collection of 1,200 plant species from tropical and subtropical areas. Inside are glass houses with various themes, among others, flower garden, garden plants, cactus gardens, forests, and tropical fruits.

Seoul Forest
A large park in Seongdong-gu. It is open year-round, and admission is free. Was opened in June 2005. The city government spent 235.2 billion won in development. aAvailable to ride bicycles, skate board.
Namdaemun
Officially known as the Sungnyemun - Gate of Exalted Ceremonies. One of the Eight Gates in the Fortress Wall which surrounded the city in the Joseon Dynasty. Dating back to the 14th century, is a historic pagoda-style gateway.
Bongeunsa
A Buddhist temple located in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu. Was founded in 794 during the reign of King Wonseong by the monk Yeon-hoe, then the highest ranking monk of Silla, and originally named Kyongseoungsa.
National Museum of Korea
The flagship museum of Korean history and art. Divided into three floors. The left side represents the past, while the right represents the future. Ground floor contains parks; gardens of indigenous plants; waterfalls and pools; pagodas, stupas.
Jogyesa
The chief temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, becoming so in 1936. Located in Gyeonji-dong. Natural monument 9, an ancient white pine tree, is located within the temple grounds.

SilkAir to Jeju PLUS the Teseum (Teddy Bear Museum) Jeju Korea | MizReeney Ep183
In Dec 2018 we joined a tour group to Korea with ASA Holidays. We flew direct to Jeju Korea on a chartered Silkair flight from Singapore, all passengers on this flight was going on the same tour.
The plane was a bit too cramped for an overnight 5.5 hour flight and had no individual tvs.

The Jeju haenyeo (female divers) harvest up to seven hours a day, 90 days of the year holding their breath for every 10m dive. Beforehand, prayers are said for safety and an abundant catch. Transmission occurs in families, fishery cooperatives and The Haenyeo School. The traditional practice advances women’s status in the community, represents the island’s identity and promotes sustainability.

KOREA VLOG PART 6 - JEJU MUSEUMS, CHEONJIYEON WATERFALL
Part 6, Day 5 of our Korea Adventure!
Today is for the less adventurous souls. We visit various museums like the O’sulloc Museum where they showcase various teas and teapots from across the globe and sell yummy green tea cakes and soft serve ice cream. You can purchase locally grown tea leaves here.
After which visited Jeju Aerospace Museum (JAM) to take a look at how Korea's aviation changed within the years.
Visited Miniature Land where they showcase famous buildings, sculptures and cartoons all around the world in miniature size of course. This place is mostly just for photo taking.
Headed to Hello Kitty Island too, a place flooded with everything Hello Kitty.
Finally ended the day at Cheonjiyeon waterfall, a place so very peaceful and calm.
