Discovering more of Kauai's secrets with Danny Hashimoto, Hawaii
Danny Hashimoto - a son of Hawai'i (born and raised...of native Hawaiian blood, Japanese and Chinese extraction). Danny is extremely grateful to have grown up on Kaua'i (and still growing) and appreciating the natural beauty and lushness of his Garden Island, Danny loves being outdoors...which includes the ocean, particularly snorkeling and swimming with dolphins, turtles and other amazing, beautiful creatures such as spotted eagle rays, etc., when the opportunity arises.
Danny's appreciation for his native land of Hawai'i and his culture became more pronounced after having lived abroad in several countries as well as Colorado which was enjoyable due to the wonderful snow skiing (a very avid ski boarder...and helped pioneer this great new sport on the ski slopes.)
Spending most of his time on Kaua'i, Danny is involved in a myriad of activities...from leading hiking tours (both easy and challenging - such as climbing waterfalls), to kayaking (ocean and river), even wild dolphin swims. Danny enjoys sharing his native land with both newcomers and locals... sharing his knowledge of history, culture, native plants, birds, and even the sacredness of certain sites/areas which he has been doing actively for the last four years.
Other activities include making delicious chocolate treats using raw cacao and healthy ingredients such as pure coconut milk and quality sweeteners with a low glycemic index, etc. Danny has been perfecting his art of making chocolate mousse and fudge over the past four years and has won a number of cooking contests in the dessert-making category.

Miraculously Cured of Cancer By a Saint from Hawaii
A few years ago I was able to visit the island of Moloka'i, Hawaii, where St. Damien and St. Marianne served the people affected by leprosy. Little did I know that on that same trip, a girl named Kate Mahoney, who was miraculously cured through the prayers of St. Marianne, would also be there. Her miracle led to the official beatification of Mother Marianne on the way to official sainthood status! Aloha to that!

Hawaii and The Rise of Kamehameha
Meet some of the many larger-than-life figures who have called Hawaii home and examine the influence of people like Captain Cook and the legendary king Kamehameha, who used courage, determination, deceit and strategic brilliance to bind the islands into one nation.
In this documentary also notice the eurocentric influence of displaying Hawaiians with obvious caucasian or asian features and not the pure blood polynesians of dark skin. Another attempt of robbing peoples of there culture and heritage, even showing Pa'so who was historically from Samoa with blonde hair. A psyops of implanting european supremasy with in tagaata ole vasa.
Enjoy this doocumentry and be mindful of false pseudo-history.

Awesome slideshow of Oahu, Hawaii with music | By Aloha Robert
O'ahu is the third largest island in the Hawaiian chain. It is home to about three-fourths of the state's population. Honolulu is the state capitol and the 11th largest U.S. metropolitan city. Waikiki, the most world-renowned site in O'ahu, is the top visitor destination of the state. This man-made beach attraction encompasses 450 acres of top vacation fun, surf, hotels, shopping, dining, and entertainment. Of course, there are abundant tourist attractions outside of Waikiki. The island is very geographically diverse with mountains, rain forests, volcanic craters, tropics, beaches, and much more. There is something for everyone to see and do! About me:
I'm a filmmaker; I like traveling to many places in California looking for the most unique and impressive places to shoot videos. In fact, California is such an amazing state with so many places to visit like art museums and landmarks! But many people don't have the opportunity to visit California because it's very expensive to travel to the Golden State. Instead of traveling, I will take you on a tour to those places and my travel videos will show you a lot of scenic sights and monuments absolutely free on my Youtube Channel.

Indigenous Wisdom in Bold Color: Meleanna Meyer and Maile Meyer at TEDxManoa
A tireless enthusiast for constructive and creative change in community, Meleanna loves to work to envision ways to make positive inroads wherever there is a need or call for positive change. A visual artist, activist, educator and filmmaker, Meleanna comes from a long line of dedicated folks who want to make a difference - on the ground, in places where indigenous voices and wisdom needs to be heard. She believes wholeheartedly that a return and honoring of indigenous wisdom traditions will ultimately save the planet. New Old Wisdom, the calling forth and reintegration of wisdom traditions of our elders from all indigenous points on the planet are what is called for in these times. Focused intention, built in community through collaborative efforts is key to any real, substantive, sustainable change.
Maile is the third of seven children born to Emma Akana Aluli and Harry Meyer. Raised in Kailua on O'ahu, educated in Honolulu town and on the continent, Maile returned home in the 1980s and started a family, and several businesses. Native Books, Native Books & Beautiful Things, Na Mea Hawai'i, Mana Hawai'i and Mea Makamae were all started to honor and expand the presence of things Hawaiian in Hawai'i. Most recently, Maile has been interested in supporting contemporary Hawaiian artists through her work with Maoli Art in Real Time POP-UP galleries at the Hawaii Convention Center and special creative collaborations including the Hawai'i Kakou Community Mural and the Sheraton Waikiki Helumoa Murals. The mural projects have been close collaborations with her sister Meleanna Meyer.

Hawaiian Healing Hula, Move and Spiritually Heal, Meditate - Spiritual Connection & Inspirartion
- Honolulu, Oahu - Hawaii, Hawaiian Healing Hula, Move and Spiritually Heal, Meditate - Spiritual Connection Soul to Mind.
Hula (pronounced /ˈhuːlə/) is a dance form accompanied by chant or song. It was developed in the Hawaiian Islands by the Polynesians who originally settled there. The chant or song is called a mele. The hula dramatizes or comments on the mele.
There are many styles of hula. They are commonly divided into two broad categories: Ancient hula, as performed before Western encounters with Hawaiʻi, is called kahiko. It is accompanied by chant and traditional instruments. Hula as it evolved under Western influence, in the 19th and 20th centuries, is called ʻauana. It is accompanied by song and Western-influenced musical instruments such as the guitar, the ʻukulele, and the double bass.
Terminology for two main additional categories is beginning to enter the hula lexicon: Monarchy includes many hula which were composed and choreographed during the 19th century. During that time the influx of Western culture created significant changes in the formal Hawaiian arts, including hula. Ai Kahiko, meaning in the ancient style are those hula written in the 20th and 21st centuries that follow the stylistic protocols of the ancient hula kahiko.
Hula is taught in schools called hālau. The teacher of hula is the kumu hula, where kumu means source of knowledge. Hula dancing is a complex art form, and there are many hand motions used to signify aspects of nature, such as the basic Hula and Coconut Tree motions, or the basic leg steps, such as the Kaholo, Ka'o, and Ami.
Meditation is a holistic discipline by which the practitioner attempts to get beyond the reflexive, thinking mind into a deeper state of relaxation or awareness. Meditation is a component of many religions, and has been practiced since antiquity. It is also practiced outside religious traditions. Different meditative disciplines encompass a wide range of spiritual goals—from achievement of a higher state of consciousness, compassion and lovingkindness, to greater focus, creativity or self-awareness, or simply a more relaxed and peaceful frame of mind.
Spirituality can refer to an ultimate reality or transcendent dimension of the world;[1] an inner path enabling a person to discover the essence of his or her being, or the deepest values and meanings by which people live.[2] Spiritual practices, including meditation, prayer and contemplation, are intended to develop an individual's inner life; such practices often lead to an experience of connectedness with a larger reality: a more comprehensive self; other individuals or the human community; nature or the cosmos; or the divine realm.[3] Spirituality is often experienced as a source of inspiration or orientation in life.[4] It can encompass belief in immaterial realities or experiences of the immanent or transcendent nature of the world.
