Decided to go to the packing house and try different foods. It's a really chill place with a variety of foods. It gets busy during lunch, dinner, and the weekends. (I went early in the morning on a weekday :))
But yeah, a must try/visit if you're ever near Anaheim, California!

TO....OBLIVION, Part 3: Anaheim's Center Street - Alexander Elliott Miller

To….Oblivion is a suite of pieces for solo electric guitar and electronics, inspired by historic and lost landmarks around Los Angeles. Each movement consists of a live electric guitar part, sound effects and a slideshow of historic and contemporary images. This is a demo of Part III: Anaheim's Center Street.
In the mid-20th Century, Anaheim's Center Street was a vibrant, typical American main street; a strip lined with hotels, department stores, cafes, theaters, any number of small businesses and the site of several annual parades. By the 1970's, however, business had dried up, and the area succumbed to significant urban blight.
With much of the town falling into disrepair, the city initiated what it called Project Alpha: the complete demolition of a 200 acre section in the heart of the city for redevelopment. Beginning in 1978, most of Anaheim's historic core was entirely destroyed, buildings torn down, streets erased and remapped. Making matters worse, the city had begun demolitions before contracts from redevelopers had been secured. Shortly after all the buildings were gone, the money dried up, and much of the heart of old Anaheim remained empty dirt lots for the better part of the 1980's.
Many of Anaheim's well known present day businesses and attractions, such as DisneyLand, Angels Stadium, the Convention Center and Honda Center, are actually miles south of the original site of the city. But the traditional downtown area is now slowly bouncing back. Precious few remaining historic buildings have found reuse (with the Anaheim Packing House being a recent and notable example), but overall, the downtown district appears to have fully transformed, with much of the actual site of the original Center Street now a strip mall and parking lot.
I have lived on a sliver of what remains of Anaheim's Center Street since 2012. While this neighborhood was at first something of a mystery to me, my work on this project has given me a richer understanding of the changes that my neighborhood has experienced over the years, and that so many neighborhoods around LA are continuing to experience today.

The room was large and the bed comfy.
Breakfast buffet had many options: eggs, waffles, fruit, oatmeal, sausage, bacon, cereal, juice, coffee, tea. We had plenty to eat before heading to the parks!
This hotel is about a 10-15minute wall to the entrance of the parks, depending on your walking speed.
When we came back in the afternoon there were cookies in the lobby!
I didn’t mention this in the video, but there was also a little shop in the lobby with all sorts of things.

Never judge a book by its cover... and looks are deceiving. You can drive by the Anaheim Packing House, but never guess that all of these cool food stores are inside. The outside is deceiving, but the inside is BEAUTIFUL!! I should've taken more videos of all the stores, but my vlog focused on my crepe. My Starry Night Van Gogh inspired goodie!! It was crepe. I went up with my fam and we had a fun mini trip together!

Disney College Program || Anaheim Packing House and Fire on the Beach
Hey guys! Goodness, it's been a minute since I uploaded a vlog, and I'm sorry about that. The Disney College Program can get pretty busy, especially around the Holidays. -- Anyway, I thought it would be kind of cool to show you a typical day off in the Disney College Program here in Anaheim California. A good place to go eat on your day off is always the Anaheim Packing District. So many foods to find and enjoy. Going to the beach has always been on of my favorite activities to do as well. I wish I visited it more often while I've been down here.
I hope you guys enjoy this little vlog showing you what I do on my days off here at Disneyland, if I'm not at the parks that is. HAHA...
