On this travel guide ???? 7 day guide North Italy: Best cheapest of Lake Como, Bellagio 4K we'll guide you through:
1) Lake Como, the town of Bellagio and Secret spots with zero tourists!
2) Famous Villa del Balbianello where James Bond and Star Wars was filmed
One place we recommend is the Villa del Balbianello in the Lenno town.
Why is this Villa so famous? Hollywood!
Villa del Balbianello is one of most beautiful destination wedding venues we've ever visited. It is in the Lake Como surrounded by amazing mountains and luxury villas.
One of the scenes of James Bond Casino Royale was filmed at this place and so was Star Wars Episode II the Attack of the Clones.
In Bellagio try:
1) Taking this signature picture of Bellagio once you reach Aperitivo Et Al. This is the place we recommend for that perfect picture.
2) Taking a coffee at Bar Sport in the main square next to the San Giacomo Church. Alternatively take an Aperol Spritz if the weather is hot!
3) We recommend antichi sapori Bistrot. This place has pizza for 7 euros.
4) Walk to The punta spartivento Observation Deck and witness the dramatic views and relaxing tranquility this beautiful lake offers.
5) Visit our secret spot for the best sunsets ever to be seen. And it's zero tourists guaranteed!

An Afternoon in Bellagio - Lake Como Part 5
We get to Bellagio despite the rain in part 4, and now the Sun comes out and we can look around this quaint old town. It has lots of cobblestoned alleyways with plenty of restaurants charging high prices by Italian standards, and shops selling knick-knacks and souvenirs and similar odds and ends.
In the second half of the video we take the last boat of the day back to Lecco. It left Bellagio at 18:05 and passed a number of towns including Lierna, Limonta, Onno, Mandello del Lario and Abbadia Lariana. Eventually the Basilica di San Nicolo in Lecco comes into view.

ABOUT ALPHATUCANA
This channel is about 'waking up' from our matrix-induced slumber, and about leaving the World a better place than we found it. For most of us, our powers and motivation are strictly limited. We are fundamentally alone in a vast and mysterious Universe, but In the struggle to survive, to 'succeed', or to just get by, we sometimes forget the bigger picture, and we sometimes forget to just relax for a while and remember what an amazing World this is. There is plenty to look at: science, Nature, society... And there are plenty of games to help us get away from it all... So on this channel, I vlog about science, Nature, enlightenment, current affairs and much else besides, I upload sightseeing videos showing London, England, or my holidays elsewhere, and I upload gameplay videos. So why not join in for a while and see what you think?
POSTING SCHEDULE
This depends in part on whether I have had time to record videos in between going to work and living the rest of my life! Usually it runs like this:
- Sat or Sun: a vlog or sightseeing video at midday (UK time).
- Gameplay videos: pretty random - typically at midday on weekdays, but not all the time.
- If I have something extra to post it usually appears at some random time :) I may livestream occasionally too.

CIAO From LAKE COMO! Our Arrival At VILLA PASSALACQUA, ITALY!
Travel with Torin: Episode 21 - CIAO From LAKE COMO!
Ciao from Lake Como! We have finally arrived at Villa Passalacqua, on the shore of Lake Como in Italy. This trip has been a long one, and we finish up our traveling through London Heathrow Airport, and onward to Milan Malpensa Airport.
In many ways, it has felt like an eternity getting here, but finally, we made it! And this villa is nothing short of jaw-dropping. It's tough to absorb that we will be living here for a week and that we have it all to ourselves.
We got a whirlwind tour of the villa before sitting down to our first Italian feast. The food was incredible, and just what we needed after almost 2 full days of travel.
IN THIS EPISODE:

02:54 - Plaza Premium Lounge, Heathrow -
03:53 - Milan Mapensa Airport (MXP)

About Us:
We are a family of travel addicts, and we more or less gear everything we do in our lives towards traveling. As a result, our son, Torin, has become an expert traveler by the age of 7.
Travel is not just a joy for us all, but it enhances so many aspects of our lives, through new experiences, meeting new people, and seeing new cultures and ways of life. It is for this reason that we have created this channel to chronicle Torin's growth along with us as a traveler.
Additionally, by the time he is in his early double digits of age, we plan to take a year off from school, from work, and travel the world with him, to live in as many different places as we can, to show him, that even though the world is full of differences, it's those differences that make the world so wonderful.
We hope you join us in our journey as we Travel with Torin.

I'm back in my region, and ready to explore more!
In this episode I'm attacking mount Legnone, the tallest mountain on lake Como, topping at over 2600 meters. It's a very shy mountain, as it's often covered, but with planning, and a bit of luck, I was finally able to experience one of the best views in the area.

Lake Como, Italy
This is the beginning of our two week trip all over Italy. For the first few days, we stayed in Bellagio, which is at the tip of a peninsula in the middle of Lake Como, in Northern Italy.
We took ferries and spent time in all the surrounding cities as well. This video takes you to all of them:
Bellagio, Cadenabbia (with the Villa Carlotta), Menaggio, and Varenna (with the Castello di Vezio and its amazing views of Lake Como and Bellagio).
This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to, possibly only eclipsed by Capri, Italy (which will be the main part of my next video, so subscribe if you haven't already).
Thanks for watching!!
Song is a traditional Italian tune called Tarantella.

Train Journey Bergamo to Lecco - Lake Como Part 2
In part 1, we flew to Milan Bergamo airport. This is the next stage, taking the train from Bergamo to Lecco, our destination for the holiday.
OK, so it isn't the greatest video in the world, but you do get to see a bit of Italy as the train trundles through the Italian countryside. One day I'll get a camera that can focus as it zooms, and a microphone with a cardoid response for the narration. Give it time... ;)

Milan To Lake Como | Italy
Traveled from Budapest to Milan, Como, and Nice for about a week. Had an amazing time especially around Lake Como, definitely, a must see if you're in Italy. The video was meant to include Nice but the amount of footage I took in Italy deserved its own video.
Veranna in Lake Como was my favorite, we had a miscommunication with the ferry and were meant to take the speedboat to Como to climb the mountain but we ended up on a two-hour long boat which turned out to be fantastic as it stopped at all the little towns on its way back to Como.

Italy: Beautiful Lake Como and Bellagio
We take a ferry across the magnificent Lake Como. Passing by Villa del Balbianello, where the ending scene in James Bond: Casino Royale and one of the Star Wars movies were filmed (you can take a tour, but we were there on one of the days it was closed!) and float by Villa Carlotta. We end by walking through gardens of Giardini di Villa Melzi on Bellagio. Make sure to get a lemon drink after the gardens. And, we still don't know where George Clooney's house is.
Italian Property Lawyer Nick Metta - TV Interview on Lake Como
More information about Italian real estate:
In this video: Italian Property Lawyer Nick Metta tells us how he helps people to buy property in Italy, purchase process and pitfalls of buying an estate, for Channel M in Manchester UK.
How do you help people to buy property in Italy?
Well I am an Italy lawyer and I help typically non Italian buyers looking to their obligations and their rights as per Italian law applicable even when not written in a contract.
So is buying a property in Italy a very complex process? Tell me through it.
There could be some very complex aspects and it is very important to look into the transaction details before signing a piece of paper.
Do lot of people sign away and then you say Why did you do that?
That's true! And at that point there is not much to do almost...it's not too late but I have to work more and sometimes we cannot get the highest result for the lowest cost possible.
There are always problems that are typical of every country. So what are the pitfalls of buying in Italy?
A very important thing before buying is to be well aware of all legal aspects that apply, no matter there is an agreement or not. Like...the deposit. They pay a deposit, they have been told there is a deposit but they don't know the consequences. So they decide to pull out.
But in Italian we have different words to define the deposit: it could be acconto, caparra, cauzione and depending on the definition there are different consequences. If you pull out you'll loose all of it, you'll loose a portion of it, you'll loose something only if the vendor can prove he got some kind of damage.
So this means that if people don't have an expert to point them the right directions...
Yes, it is very important to be well guided.
And is this exactly what you do?
I try do to my best! And fortunately buyers are very happy.
Thank you very much Nick.
Thank you!

Probably one of the most romantic places on earth is Lake Como (Como Lago) It is absolutely amazing, everywhere you go you have breathtaking views.
It is very easy to get to from Malpensa airport in Milan. You can either take a taxi for aprox 150Euros or save a bundle with the train and ferry. I chose the train and it couldnt have been easier. In terminal 1, I followed the sighns for the train which brought me to their ticket counter. I just told them where I wanted to go and they gave me my tickets. The fastest was to Como Lago is with a stop in Sarrona. This train runs aprox every 20 minutes and is around a 20 minute ride. Then you will grab the Como Lago train, which runs less often, and is an aprox 43 minute ride, ending in Como. I found an amazing app, TRENIT, just search for it in your app store. This app will show you all options for trains as well as platform information. This was awesome because I only had 2 minutes to change trains or I would have to wait for the next one which was 1-2 hours later. So since I knew that I would be arriving on platform 2 and departing on platform 4, I was able to run and made it perfectly. There are plenty of awesome places to stay right there in como, or head to one of the other lake villages. I stayed at Tremezzo, which is just across from Bellagio so I grabbed the ferry. They have the fast ferry with inside seating which only takes about 43 minutes, they also offer the slow ferry, with inside and outside seating. This one takes much longer because it stops at each village on its way.
Once in Tremezzo, I stayed at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, which was AMAZING!!! after I got situated I bought a ferry day pass for only 15EURs which takes you between Lenno, Tremezzo, Bellagio, Varrena and Menaggio. Get off and on as much as you want.
Bellagio is ine of the favorites for most vacationers, but I fell in love with Varrena. You can hike up to the top of the mountain and visit Castela de Vesio, also explore Villa Monestero which offers amazing gardens and views.

Lake Como, Italy.
Lush mountains, glistening water, authentic food, friendly locals, and plenty of sunshine... Lake Como has got everything you could possibly wish for in a holiday destination. George Clooney lives here, and talking non-stop about George appears to be one of the local traditions, so we were more than happy to join in. Did we eventually find George and get invited to his villa for a Nespresso? Watch the video to find out! (But you probably already know the answer...)
Lake Como is much larger than we expected it to be. You can walk around the lake for days or hop on a ferry and head for one of the many stunning lakeside locations, including Bellagio, which is well and truly worth the boat ride. Even better, Milan is less than 40 minutes away from Como by train, so why not plan a side trip for some serious shopping and eating? That’s what we did!
We are all about scenery, cities, photography and food, so if you like those things too hit subscribe and come with us! If you have a question for us leave it in the comments section and we’ll answer all of your questions and share some more of our travel tips in our upcoming videos.
Ciao, and grazie for watching!

Scenic lakeside drive from Como to Bellagio, Lake Como, Italy - Part 1
Take a relaxing drive along the winding coast road of Lake Como in a Fiat 500. Filmed in HD 1080p from an external mounted Gopro. Note this is not a rally drive but intended to take in the views and atmosphere.
Ferry on Lake Como Italy between Bellagio, Varenna & Menaggio, via Fréjus Road Tunnel
We spent 2 nights in Lake Como Italy after our beautiful house sitting assignment in Conjux, France. It seems our European trip has been covering all the mountain lakes of Western Europe. Lake Annecy and Lake Bourget in France were hard to top, but Lake Como surely didn't disappoint. This is a much larger lake in comparison to Annecy or Bourget, with more towns accessible via Ferry.
PRO TRAVEL TIP: If you plan to go to a town such as Mennagio, Bellagio, Varenna or any town via ferry for that matter BUY THE DAY PASS. It seems the ticket counter operators are notorious for selling you two one-way tickets at 9.80 euros each, however a daily pass is available for 15 euros. You do the math, the Daily Pass makes way more sense, but you might not be informed of its existence, especially in Menaggio, where most people are based.
The ferry rides are usually crowded, but the views are spectacular. We covered all three towns in one day and lots of walking. Easily doable if you are on a time crunch.

LAKE COMO || A Day Trip
We wanted to spend a night around lake como but due to a limited time we decided to just do a day trip which gave us enough glimpse of the beautiful lake and its surrounding towns.
Check the guide at:
From Milano Centrale train station we took an hour train ride to Varenna-Esseno for only 6 euros.
It’s a beautiful little town just northeast of the famous Bellagio.
We then took a 15 minute ferry ride to Bellagio passing other amazing lakeside towns.
After arriving at Bellagio we were greeted by an elegant atmosphere where people just relax by the lakeside and champagne on their hand. Bellagio is also called the pearl of the lake. We definitely agree and the picturesque alleys and the site of the emerald colored lake did not disappoint us.
Next up we rode another ferry down to the City of Como which the lake was named from. It’s a bigger community than bellagio and sits at the southwestside of the lake near the italian-swiss border. It is surrounded by green ridge hills resulting in unparalleled natural scenery.
We then rode a furnicular that took us up to a little mountain community over looking the City of Como. It was an experience seeing the lake and the city.
As the dark quickly creeped in we made our way to San giovanni station to catch an hour train ride back to Milan.
Exploring lake como in just a day is doable if you have a limited time when you are around Milan. But if you really wanted to embrace the atmosphere and relax by the lakeside you should spend at least a night in one of the towns around the lake. But for us seeing this stunning lake just a short while considering our limited is enough. And if given a chance we would definitely go back and spend more time.

Lake Como | Italy Unexpected (Advertisement)
This August we spent 4 sun-filled days at the world-renown Lago di Como, also called Lario or Lake Como. Centuries of silk trade and industry brought prosperity to the lake, but only since superstar George Clooney spends his holidays here the region has been truly flushed with a new influx of international visitors. And no wonder he chose this place as his second home!
We got to test 3 different hotels at Lake Como owned by a local family and enjoyed truly Italian hospitality & luxury at the lakeside.
