Mt Alyeska Aerial Tram & Hike
Mt Alyeska is 2,300 feet in elevation and features the easy way, the aerial tram, and the hard way (aka, rewarding) of walking up. Regardless of your choice, you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the Turnagain Arm, the Chugach Mountain Range and seven hanging glaciers. You'll also experience a unique hand-powered tram to ford a creek.
This adventure was offered to delegates of the Adventure Travel World Summit 2016, powered by the Adventure Travel Trade Association with the support of Visit Anchorage.

Hiking in Alaska - Bear Valley Hike in Chugach State Park
We hiked up a mountain in Bear Valley in Anchorage, Alaska. It was foggy and visibility was limited so it was rather surreal. We could only see about 50 yard as we ascended. When we got to the top the clouds opened up a little, but only briefly. The view through the mist was amazing.
Spencer Lake and Icebergs
A little float up to the Spencer Glacier face, which terminates in Spencer Lake. Which is constantly moving and breaking off icebergs, mostly in the summer months. The VR was filmed on a chugachadventures.com boat with Ari Stiassny.
Mount Diablo- Full Descent- Summit to North Gate
This is a full descent down California’s Mt. Diablo. It starts at the top, goes down the Summit Road and then North Gate Road to the North Gate, and was recorded in April of 2016. This day had a ridiculous number of flying insects near the top- every little black or white spec is something flying. It’s normally not this bad, though.
This isn’t a bombing ‘throw caution to the wind’ descent. It’s pretty much the speed limit all the way, but it will give you an idea of what the roads are like and what you can expect to see on a mid-Spring ride here, which includes a lot of wildflowers and the greens starting to turn golden. It’s hard to see gradients on video, but you might get some idea of what a few sections are like by noting ascending cyclists’ cadences. (The average grade for Diablo is a little over 6%, but there are a couple of lengthy sections over 10%, and ‘The Wall’ at the end is a whopping 16%, which can be challenging after you’ve just climbed 3700 feet.)
Thanks for watching, hope to see you on the mountain, and please always ride safely.

(The MusOpen website rather confusingly lists it as both released to the Public Domain and also having a Creative Commons Attribution license, which is somewhat contradictory, so I’ll assume the slightly more restrictive latter classification.)
