Lerma ordered the creation of a team that designed and built on such spaces with similar characteristics in Munich, Canada and London, to develop the project, with a conspicuous appearance.
In July 2004, the Campus Party settled on the lake's main museum where there was a big tent of 12.800m ², receiving 4,500 participants that occasion. The City of Arts & Sciences, or Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, is a modern marvel of architecture is considered one of 12 treasures of Spain.
This building is called l'hemisfèric. The building is meant to resemble a giant eye. The Eye of knowledge is the centerpiece of the city of arts and sciences. It features a planeterium, Imax cinema and a laserium.
El Museu de Les Ciències Príncipe Felipe is an interactive museum of science that resembles the skeleton of a whale.
For an awesome date in The City of Arts & Sciences, rent a boat or water bike and enjoy the incredible surroundings and the lake for 5 euros.
If you want something incredibly fun and challenging, try waterballs. They give you a sensation of walking on water! It’s super fun and it costs only 5 euros.
There's also an open structure enveloping a landscaped walk with plant species indigenous to Valencia. It features an outdoor art gallery filled with sculptures by contemporary artists.
El Pont de L'assut de Lor is a white cable-stayed bridge that connects the south side with Minorca street. The bridge tower stands 125 meters high and is the highest point in the city.
El Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia is an opera house dedicated to music and the scenic arts. It has many panoramic lifts and stairways, is surrounded by 87,000 square meters of landscape and water. It holds many events such as opera, theatre, and music in its auditoriums.

Santiago Calatrava: works and projects
List about santiago Calatrava: works and projects
Without a doubt, Valencia is the city of Calatrava and the City of Arts and Sciences (CAC) is his most famous and best-known work. He was also born there and is one of the most international Spanish architects. The white defines him. But this great architect has many more ambitious works and projects, among which is one of the future tallest buildings in the world, the Chicago Spire. He is the king of bridges but not only limited to it. For me, two of his best projects are those in New York and the worst one in the Obelisk of the Caja de Madrid. Here is a sample of his works and his projects. Vote and comment.

LA CIUDAD DE LAS ARTES Y LAS CIENCIAS, 1ª parte
Hola amigos!
Hello friends! Today we go for a walk through the City of Arts and Sciences, a cultural, scientific and playful complex with two singularities: Its avant-garde design and water + vegetation as a stage. It is located in the old Turia riverbed and was designed by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatraba, who has been chosen to build the world's tallest building in Dubai, apart from other international projects. The City of Arts & Sciences consists of seven elements:
The UMBRACLE is a walk garden that runs parallel along the complex and houses native vegetation as well as a selection of contemporary sculpture.
The HEMISPHERIC is an IMAX cinema with an eye shape where great digital documentaries are projected in 3D, highly recommended to visit!
The MUSEO DE CIENCIAS PRÍNCIPE FELIPE offers interactive science and technology exhibitions and workshops for all audiences.
The ÁGORA is a multipurpose space that hosts events of different types; next to it is the bridge ASSUT D'OR, with the shape of a harp, which joins the two banks of the river Turia, and whose mast is the highest point of high of Valencia.
The PALACE OF THE ARTS REINA SOFÍA is the sanctuary of the music lovers to delight themselves with fantastic operas, ballet, zarzuelas, of international recognition.
And the last element is the OCEANOGRAPHIC, the largest aquarium in Europe, more than 500 different species in seven marine environments. Given the importance of these last two elements I have decided to leave them for a second part to offer them from inside.
One anecdote to finish, here was filmed part of the movie Tomorowland.
I hope you have enjoyed this refreshing walk, if so, I would like to see your fingers up, your comments, and if you want to continue seeing more do not forget subscribe if you have not already done so not lose any. Thanks and until the next meeting!
