Athens Open-Top Bus Tour - FULL VIDEO (Sights of Athens, Greece)
Just like Rome, there is too much to see and plenty to do in Athens! We were only here for a few days, so an open-top bus tour really helped get a good grasp of the city pretty fast! From the bus, you can go on to visit the Acropolis, the Ancient Agora and many more popular spots in Athens! There are three open-top bus companies which all go to the same places. Sights of Athens (The blue bus) was the cheapest and also run later than another one! We didn't have any problems or issues. Great time! Tickets can be purchased on the bus, cards were accepted, no problem!
Website:

The Essence of Athens
Athens is the capital and largest city of Greece.
The heritage of the classical era is still evident by ancient monuments and works of art, the most famous of all being the Parthenon on the Acropolis.
The incredible amount of Monuments and tourists in this city make it feel like you are walking through an open air museum at some times in the city center. However it is still an amazing place to visit. But see for yourself in only 3 adorable minutes.

ATHENS ACROPOLIS | A GUIDED TOUR
For our travel section we thought to start with the basics. “Acropolis 101” course from our host Chris Tantalakis.
Acropolis is a world renowned monument that no one should miss. The Acropolis hill overlooks Athens and hosts the Parthenon, the Propylaia, the Erechtheion and the temple of Athena Nike, each one of them very significant for its own purposes and style. Τhe Parthenon, dates back in the fifth century BC, in the golden age of Pericles, it was the greatest and finest sanctuary of the ancient world, dedicated to the patron of the city of Athens, goddess Athena. All the monuments up on this “sacred hill” are unique masterpieces of architecture and art combining many different styles of Classical art, having influenced culture for many centuries until today. GreekTV climbed up the hill and presents a basic guide of this great monument.
